Aurora Unit
Obviously ... you know!?

Comes out really soon, anyone else excited? I'm just hoping its not anything like Hunters and that the controls work out. I'm a little disappointed the game takes place on multiple planets ... so its probably not going to have that dark atmospheric touch the previous games did. But I'm still hoping for an incredible game.

I read the magazine about Metroid Prime 3. It's reviews are like whoa! How they do that. It also mention that it will be the grand finale of the game according to Nintendo Power.

Awww, they named it after me!!

I have never been a huge fan of the Metroid series since I played a Gameboy Avd. Rom, thats the only one I have really gotten into .

Its really awesome so far. Controls are a little crazy but you get used to them after awhile, but even after playing I still feel overwhelmed from time to time with all the buttons (it actually makes use of practically every button on the wiimote/nunchunk).

So far the game itself is pretty fun, though it does feel a little different than what Metroid is all about. IE, lots of big outdoor environments rather than underground caves and stuff. Unfortunately it also feels a lot more linear than the previous two, items don't seem that complicated to get either.

Regardless, I'd say its a must own for the Wii. Definitely pretty awesome so far and from what I'm hearing that game just gets better and better.

Decent, guess I'd give it a 8 out of 10.

Maybe its because I played the previous two and already knew how this game would feel, but I got 100% in 13 hours, which is really, pretty sad. Didn't even really have to try and go on a lot of item hunts either.

In short its a solid game and a must own for the Wii, but for those looking for something challenging and adventerous like the first two ... yeah, don't expect that. Its "Metroid for the casual gamers". Really linear, easy, etc.
