Wow, how did I miss this thread? Two things though:

(1) In the title, if you're referring to the Japanese alcoholic beverage, then the correct spelling is "sake" （酒、さけ）, but I always hear the the pronunciation with an "i", lol.

(2) In the sentence "I went to the movies with my friends", TP probably has the most natural of saying it, because you don't need to say "watashi" at the beginning of every sentence. If you have already stated yourself somewhere in the convo, you don't need to keep saying it. So here are a few ways you can say it:

Watashi wa tomodachi to eiga wo mimashita.
わたしはともだちとえいがをみました。
私は友達と映画を見ました。

Tomodachi to eiga wo mimashita.
ともだちとえいがをみました。
友達と映画を見ました。

Watashi wa tomodachi to eiga wo mi ni ikimashita.
わたしはともだちとえいがをみにいきました。
私は友達と映画をみに行きました。

By the way, the word for "movie theater" would be eigakan （映画館、えいがかん）

Actually, it was right ouf of my coworkers trunk, so it was pretty warm. And yeah, I've heard people say its best served warm.

I had the strangest dream last night. I was Hiro and I witnessed a murder or something that was done by this corporation run by Gary Oldman's character from Fifth Element. He was sending Jet Li to take me out, and Jules and Vincent were my protectors, but I didn't know that so I kept running from them too. And somehow the company from "Heroes" figures into it and HRG is trying to protect me. And the whole setting was the city layout from "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" but the coloration was like that in "300."

It was just such an odd dream. And random other things kept happening, like Shelby from Sound & Fury was calling me to come to his next show and so on.


Heh, had to post this somewhere.

Yeah, and for some reason, in part of the dream, the corporation sent this kid to fight me who used to be a terminal patient the Make a Wish Foundation helped, who got three wishes fulfilled for him by Superman. Somehow I beat him in a fight and stole his jacket which, unbeknown to me, was what gave him his powers.


And this is why people think I'm on drugs sometimes.


EDIT: Am watching Showgirls on TV right now. It's funny how whoever made it presentable for television, drew bras on the naked breasts.

How much sleep do you guys usually get for school?

I'm getting a good 6 hours or so.

Not good for me. I'm someone who takes forever to wake up and needs their sleep. I only go to school Monday, Wednesday, and Friday though, and on my days off, early in the morning too (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday) I get a lot more sleep. But its more than likely a bad and unhealthy pattern.

Random, but I just sit here wondering why I'm not in bed right now.

I usually go to bed at 11-12pm on School Nights, but I'm still very tired in the morning. It sucks. I often wake up at least once in the middle of the night, or in some annoying cases, half an hour before my alarm goes off. Weak.

I haven't had a day where I was fully energized in a while.
