If it isn't too much trouble. Otherwise I like it a lot. It's already been added to my LJ profile.
I was going to ask if you could do another one that reads "Fairefolk" using the last two photos I posted in the Photo album thread. Namely these two: http://static.flickr.com/46/147203907_ec6a74aa3b.jpg?v=0 http://static.flickr.com/45/147203910_c0c5e33188.jpg?v=0 Just don't use my face. You can use my chest, the Rogue's Reef sign... either or. ![]() Seriously though, cleavage is like a huge factor at faire. ![]() |

Oh look... I grew a penis. I think I'll go exploit some women for my own egotistical gain and simultaneously scratch my ass while urinating standing up now. ![]() |

Zabuza and I like to hang out at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) from time to time.
On our last trip, I blatantly wrote this on the floor: ![]() How did I get away with this you might ask. What could have possibly posessed me, an upstanding member of the community, to do it? (That's right, I heard you... I have ears everywhere.) Well, I'll tell you. (Because I can see that some of you are really on the edge of your seat on this one.) They have an exhibition in called "Consider This..." with various statues and pieces of art in one of the installations. They provide markers and you can write responses to what you see. Most people use it to post their own personal philosophies, their MySpace account urls, so-and-so was here, and blah blah loves who-the-hell-cares among billions of scribblings on the walls and floor. So I opted to write other things. The board's url, for one. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (Last edited by Rogue on 05-16-06 06:55 PM) |

Yay for defacing currency. Reminds me of Kwoon's no money marketing ploy.
Elara and I used to write the url on this huge notepad that used to hang one of the women's restrooms that was put there to try and keep people from writing on the walls. (Last edited by Rogue on 05-17-06 12:43 AM) |

I could really use that right this moment, actually. Oy.
Moountain Dew is just barely making a dent... must study. Must write paper. Must put together calendar page. Must call everyone and tell them where to meet. Must do all this before 2 p.m. when I have classes 9:30-2 p.m. Must start by getting off the computer. At least, now I'm not dozing off over my mass comm book. |

I hate to bitch but can you use the Rogue's Reef sign and bring in down a bit on the chest shot (enought that you can see more of the cloth and not just them colliding)?
Or maybe for the chest part, use the one on the far right: http://static.flickr.com/46/139471887_cb8cf03d5c_o.jpg ![]() |

You're going to sharpen your cellphone?
If only we could do that with a pink one. Kill all the scene people with their own trend-whore symbol. Shiewws. *trying to mimic that stupid video that only Margaret Cho could impersonate correctly, and anyone else who did it, was just trying to ride her tailcoats of awesome sauceness* (Last edited by Rogue on 05-18-06 11:58 PM) |

This is pretty much that game I used to play with my friends in high school, Dirty Minds. Heh.
One of the sample questions was: What word is 4 letters, ends in U-N-T, and is another name for a woman? - Answer: Aunt ![]() |

You should just make this its own thread. Good grief this video sucked... hence the new avatar.
Zoso agrees. He was just subjected to it a minutes ago. |

This joke is a lot more funny when said and not read and I'm sure it's going to be obvious when you read it:
What's long, hard, and full of seamen? - A submarine. What's got a big head, is about 6 inches long, and women love it? - A 100 dollar bill. |

A little back story for the folks at home who don't know what we're talking about:
A couple nights ago, Zabuza and I went to see a burlesque/belly dancing show hosted by the great Ms. Margaret Cho at this flamenco dinner theater and bar in L.A. Prior to the show, they played this video... actually a longer version of this video. The room was on the floor laughing their asses off, except for Zabuza and myself. This could be possibly be one of three reasons: 1) We had at least some sense of taste. 2) The room was filled to capacity with scenesters, and we're talking the older ones that are trying to act young by buying expensive, unnecessary crap (like $300 Gucci sunglasses to wear at night) and carry pink Razrs because they know that when you're pushin' 30-something, you should grow up, but you don't wanna 'cause you're a Toys 'R' Us kid. These sorts of people laughed because this video sort of defined them and they relate to it. 3) Everyone felt they had to laugh at thing because it was a way to fit in. If Margaret Cho likes it, then they must like it too to fit in and be absolutely cool like her. What annoys me about this is that after Maragret Cho joked about how the voice runs in your head, suddenly the other M.C. (this over-weight Hispanic woman trying sound like she's from Brooklyn), and the blonde in the skimpy dress, whose job it was to just look pretty and pick up the clothes after the last person had stripped and threw their clothes on the floor, started trying to impersonate the voice to ride Margaret Cho's coattails of cool. Ick.. The ONLY things I like about this video are the girls with the flaming hula hoops. They have absolutely NOTHING to do with the video, but there they are. I can't believe there's going to be an albm for this nonsense. ![]() (Last edited by Rogue on 11-22-06 12:29 AM) |

This has been an ongoing battle in my area. I've since given them as much money as I can give to help buy the farm.
It's appalling what big cities do which shows neglect toward the people who help build them to their greatness. If you haven't heard, read on. South Central Farm ![]() The farmers held off bulldozers by legal action, but the developer recently received approval from the court to evict them. The Trust for Public Land, a national, nonprofit, land conservation organization that is working to save the farm, has until Monday, May 22, 2006, to raise approximately $10 million to purchase the land. They are part of the way there, but need several million more." According to their site, if they can't buy the land, they will refund your money. I gave them as much as I could on my starving college student budget. More information: http://www.saveourgarden.com/ Donate HERE. Just click on the picture of the key at the bottom of the page. This was originally a 'Where were you 10 years ago?' survey, but for many of you it's often hard to remember and many of the questions wouldn't have applied yet, so I droppped it to 5.
So... Five years ago today: How old were you?: 16 What grade year were you in?: Sophomore year in high school. Where did you go to school?: Mayfair High. Where did you work?: Kaiser Permanente as an intern. How was your hair style? Medium length and brown... just before I bleached in blond streaks. Did you have braces?: Nope. Did you wear glasses?: Nope. Who was your best friend(s)?: Emily, James, William, Edgar, Aly, David, Karen, and Danielle. There were others, but I hung out with many people since I was always at this coffee shop on the weekends. Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend?: Nelson. Where did you hang out? At the time I used to hang out all the time at this Christian coffee house in Bellflower. Lots of great bands. I wasn't of their faith, but we all hung out and had a great time just the same. Also always used to hang out in David's garage with the door open, near the park. Who was your celebrity crush?: Ted Raimi. How many tattoos did you have?: None. How many piercings did you have? Two, just the ear lobes. What car did you drive?: Didn't drive then, still don't drive now. What was your favorite band/group? System of a Down, Penial, Everclear, and Green Day. Otherwise I don't think I had a favorite band at the time, though that was partially what I was into at that time. What was your favorite movie? Indiana Jones, X-Men, Matrix, whatever was good. What was your worst fear? The dark and the things that might lurk in it. Had you smoked a cigarette yet?: Nope. Had you gotten drunk or high yet? Nope, I was straight-edge. Had you driven yet? Nope. Had you been to a real party yet? Yes. Had your heart broken? Sort of. Had broken someones heart?: Yes, and it sucked to do it. TODAY... How old are you?: 21 What grade are you in? College. Sophomore year, technically. Where do you go to school? Long Beach City. Where do you work?: Viking Newspaper office. Where do you live? Cerritos, Calif. Where do you hang out?: All around Los Angeles, Long Beach, Culver City, and Westwood. But I seem to spend a lot of time at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). Spend most of my week in Long Beach. How is your hair style?: Shoulder-length brown hair that just hangs without anything in it. Do you have braces?: Nope. Do you wear glasses?: Nope. Who is your best friend?: I don't really label anyone a best friend, as opposed to 'friend.' Still talk to any of your old friends?: Unfortunately not as much as I'd like to. Who is your celebrity crush? Trey Parker, Kevin Smith (though not as much as 3 years ago), Ted Raimi, and occasionally Shelby Bond. ![]() Who is your regular-person crush?: Brandon! How many piercings do you have?: Four. How many tattoos?: None... yet. What kind of car do you drive?: My left and right foot. What is your favorite singer/group?: Flogging Molly. Along with them: Poxy Boggards, Reel Big Fish, Voidcrush, Dropkick Murpheys, and Children of Bodom. I have so many favorites, though. What is your favorite movie? I believe the answer that you seek lies here What is your biggest fear? Failure and the same things I was when I was 16. Have you smoked a cigarette yet? Yes, but I do not smoke. Have you gotten drunk or high?: Technically no. Been very, very buzzed though. Have you been to a party?: Yup, first filled this out after coming back from one. Has your heart been broken?: In a matter of speaking, but not by a man breaking up with me. That hasn't happened... yet. I think the heart break that's weighed on me was feeling lost after high school and just before college. |

It premiered in 2004's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation and was shown at San Diego Comic-Con '03.
I saw it. I still have my official Dr. Tran 3D glasses from that night with him and Spike and Mike printed on them. It's not new, but it isn't really old either. I still laugh my ass off every time I see it. Long live Breehn. |

It's a silly question and that's why this thread is in the Asylum. I just spent the past 30 minutes hearing one of my neighbors screaming loud enough that I could hear him over the TV, protesting that Jews shouldn't be allowed to say, "Jesus Chirst!" in admonishment, amazement, or awe.
We all slip and shout such things once in a while, but is it a valid argument to say that Jews shoudn't be allowed to yell it because they don't believe he's the son of god? Obviously a Christian isn't about to yell, "Oh gods!" or otherwise, but who makes these rules? What do you think? |
