| I just saw this one over the weekend, and I was thouroughly impressed. My favorite fight in there was against Master Chin in the restaurant. I read about it a few months ago in the issue of Wired magazine with the pull-out how to guide, and it had everything they talked about.
But I had this kid in my theater that kept on saying stupid crap all throughout the movie. At the end of Huo and Chin's fight, that kid exclaimed, "He broke his chest!" I responded with, "God, would someone shut that kid up!" A bit mean, I know, but it needed to be said. |

| I dog/ baby sit for a few family, friends and neighbors. It gets me alot more cash than most people care to beleive, like $25 an hour for kids, and $30 per hour on the dog. 'Course, I blow it all right away on action figures and what not, buthey, money is money. | |||

| Yup, I went to the midnight, and was one of the proud two not in costume (I went and sat next to the guy, we had a good laugh), and was only mildly disappointed. Looking at it as a movie, it was outstanding, but viewing it as a book movie, it was a bit of a let-down. They got things wrong, and left a lot out, but that last action sequence made up for it. 7/10.

| Finally, a good new game for the PS3! I've got high hopes for this one, and am... afraid that it will be bad. Everything about it looks fantastic, and it's from the people behind the Rogue Squadron series. And of course, I'm always a sucker for Dragons and Fantasy. Go go war! | |||

Range Murata: -Blue Sub. 6 -Last Exile Hayao Miyazaki: -Nausicaa -Princess Mononoke -Spirited Away -Castle in the Sky -Howl's Moving Castle -Damn near anything else by that man. Also, coming soon from his son, "Tales from Earthsea." It looks like he'll be following in his father's footsteps with more epic anime films. I'm excited. |

| I probably was only a big fan because I followed the virals on the internet, like:
-The character's MySpaces -A site explaining the origin of the monster -Tagruato's website (parent company of Slusho) -TidoWave's site (The anti-Tagruato company supporting the monster), and -1-18-08.com These were a huge help in understanding the movie, BUT! I sould probably head on over to the regualr thread if I wanted to discuss it further. |
