This is absolutely bloody ridiculous. I haven't ever raised any kids obviously, but I've been a significant part of well over 15 kids lives through the ages of 1-9. I don't agree with your statement either, Nagis, but it's a lot more understandable than what this woman is doing.

I think this will, in fact, prevent the kid from doing bad things. But he'll continue to live his life running away from his mistakes, in fear of being screamed at. Much more so than the cold shower and the hot sauce, that woman was verbally abusing her son. When kids are that young (I'm assuming he was 4-5) they learn want they can do to get power over adults. By making such a huge deal about it, he learns that if he's being ignored or he is unhappy, all he needs to do is do something bad and he'll be the center of attention.

Kids are extremely impressionable. He'll either grow up to be so timid and unhappy, or he'll be depressingly angry.

In my opinion.

I'd never even think of drinking alcohol! I'm underage! Who would break the LAW!?

I'm not much of a fan of beer. For some reason, I can chug things without problem. It had led to not so fun nights, but I can drink any beer without much problems. My favorite beer I've ever tasted has been Heineken. It's one of the many beers I've had on my Europe trip (not quite over), and it's been my favorite so far.

I don't like wine either. I really don't like the taste of any alcohol at all, really. I've gotten too drunk off wine because my friend and I decided to drink enough wine for 5 people. I had about 2 bottles of wine to myself that night. My organs weren't happy.

Hard alcohol. I am really good at shots. Right now I actually kind of get sick LOOKing at alcohol because a friend and I decided to drink 5-7 shots in 10-20 minutes (both female). We can both hold our alcohol, but we were both already drunk and it is the only night I can't remember (woke up in bed naked without remembering going to bed and the kitchen was FULL of puke).

Getting back to favorites. When it comes to getting drunk, I'm really a CA girl. I do shots. I don't like mixed drinks unless I can't taste the alcohol.

Had some Absinthe in Budapest, it was interesting.

I swear, I haven't acted any different depending on the alcohol. Is certain alcohol supposed to make me feel different? It makes me feel drunk.

I know this had been made before, but this thread is dedicated to the people, the videos that just make you go, "wifjhiasjfhisajgfoasg". There really isn't any other word for them. Only post if you think it's truly, TRULY worthy of the "omfg" name. Everything, is so awesome, you need to watch them.

To start us off. http://www.wimp.com/danceoff/

If anyone doesn't know wimp, it's a website with "the best videos on the internet". If you are starting to get bored of this video, skip to somewhere around 2:40 and watch from there. It's all amazing. My god.

I flew from LA to the local airport with united and the flight attendant kept changing her accent. She started with this wild "Howdy Ya'll!!" cowgirl accent, then went through loads of them. I loved it.

Not going to talk much about Myers-Briggs because I've never really gotten much into it, but does anyone know anything about the "Ennagram". It's seriously one of my favorite things in the world. Myers-Briggs is a "personality type" that can change, where the Enneagram is how you, and your type, goes about life, what drives you and how you deal with situations. Anyone heard of it? http://www.9types.com/

I don't know the motive behind the villains just yet, but it's really awesome to watch and it has a magical boy transformation *squeals with joy*. Takuto protects the South maiden and the driver of Samekh (king of Cybodies). There's a lot of battles in cybodies and it has the Power rangers one hit attack, but it's fun to watch. Each character Takuto goes up against has their own quirks.

Got to disagree. It may be because I didn't grow up watching Sailor Moon, but this show does NOT do it for me. I have continued to watch it, in hope that there will be some sort of change/to see the final outcome, but seeing the EXACT SAME THING every episode doesn't do it for me. The story is fine, but the last 5 minutes always goes like this "Oh no! Bad guy! Transform! Oh no! They're strong! Jk, if I believe in myself i'll be fine." No struggle, good guy ALWAYS wins.

Oh, us Northern Californian's are in total hellll. It's almost always in the 70's, and at this point, low 80's. Sunny, gorgeous. It's hell.

In reality though... I'm not happy with the weather. It feels way to much like doomsday for me. This is more like summer than last summer was.

Oh, erm. I think it's really best to read through the types and see for yourself which type you are. The tests really don't do anything but MAYBE give you an idea. Plus, 2 with a 9 wing makes no sense. You only have wings of the numbers next to you (4 can have a 5 or a 3 wing).

I want to hear your guy's opinion on this arch so far. I've been pretty neutral, it seems pretty much the same, but I want to hear some real imput. I haven't really been excited for next weeks chapter, but I don't think manga/anime gives me as much joy as it used to.

I would do a new thread with a poll, but I don't think it's really worth THAT much effort. Seriously though... imputs?

These lack couple months have been pretty hard on my body. A friend visited from another country and the three weeks they visited were hell(they weren't anything like the person I thought they were) During that time my body got put through a roller coaster of pain and annoyance. I broke out in acne and heat rashes, easily pulled my shoulder, went through horrible back, shoulder and neck pain, AND I became a complete Insomniac.

I don't mean that I just stayed up late. I mean that I literally could NOT fall asleep for hours of time, and when I did it was a horrible sleep. I got dark circles under my eyes, depressed, nightmares. The whole thing.

But outside of these last couple months, I usually get kept awake talking with someone completely outside of my time zone. Or I get hooked to a new show or anime.

Dreams that you have that you can't wake up from/ people aren't able to physically wake you from, are called "night terrors". My friend has dreams almost every day that you CANNOT wake him up from, even if he's screaming and kicking around. Even pouring water on him. He'd have the same dream every night, sounded HORRIBLE.

My dreams are usually blockbuster movies of some sort. I've had sci-fi, western, fantasy..etc. They don't happen often, but they usually include flashbacks and tied together plots that have an ending. I often will have very obvious reasons about why I dreamed about things. Lots of little things put together.

The worst nightmares I've ever had was when I was 8 I had 105.6 fevers and I woke up hallucinating. I was in the middle of a dream and needed to be taken to the bathroom, but I was still stuck in a dream where I had a timer until I was going to be struck by lightning. And another one where I was slowly being crushed by a bolder that my friends and family were adding weight to. Apparently I was woken up and I screamed at my grandfather and said "NOOO! I DON'T WANT TO BE TAKEN AWAY BY A CENTAUR!"

BUUUMMP

After being talked into by my friend over and over again (Jexim, actually), I started watching the show. It's better than I thought it would be, but I certainly haven't finished an episode and got really excited to watch the next. Take in mind, I'm only on episode 9.

How is the manga in comparison to the anime? What are peoples opinions, is it better or worse? Pretty much the exact same?

How much farther ahead is the manga? For example, in the manga there was the big time skip, how long would you imagine it'd take for the time skip to reach the anime?

Everyone still watching/reading it?

Yup. He was in the army. He's married now. Fun fact: I dated him.

I guess I'll keep watching the anime and if I really get into it/if I finish the anime (somehow) and get left wanting more, then I'll read the manga.
