| Since the wedding, and now honeymoon, there are some staff who just don't talk to me at all. Not sure if it's the butt-hurt that they weren't invited or what. Ah well.
Of course, in the case of two of those, they're the ones who started that character assassinating rumor about me. Why the fuck would I even want to pretend to have a pleasant conversation with them, anyway?
Another fuck you to flakes. People complain that I don't invite them to shit, but when I try to arrange something (even checking in, going, "We're still on for Sunday, right?" and them enthusiastically going, "Yeah!"), it all fucking falls apart. I don't bother inviting anyone from work for anything any more. Hell, the ones who did show for the wedding, only came to the reception.
Oh, hey! And rumor went around that my boss brought BOTH this wife and his mistress to my wedding (he really only brought the mistress.) People who weren't even fucking there started that rumor and were shitting on the boss the entire time I was gone for the wedding and after. Ugh... You'd think I work with a bunch of middleschoolers, but no, I'm among the younger people there. |

| Yup, been going through the new "God of War." It's a gorgeous game.
Since we were gone for three weeks, I had to do my damnedest to avoid spoilers. I even ran into a Kratos at the Georgia Renaissance Faire and we got to talking. Thankfully the worst he said was, "The twist at the end is gonna get you!" Well, what game DOESN'T have a twist at the end, these days? |

My favorite cold coffee is Blue Bottle's New Orleans iced coffee. It comes in a little milk carton, like the ones from school. Been drinking it for years, and holy fuck is it amazeballs over ice cream. What would make you de-friend someone on Facebook, Twitter, etc? |

I jumped in front of the van to stop her so he could walk across the driveway safely. She didn't have a spotter like we've all been told to have. I told my boss and he's pissed. I mean, we get chewed out for so much shit and here comes the newest corporate person nearly running down a client. What's more, we've come to discover she was previously a DSP (an aide.) Going from DSP to TC is quite a leap considering our last TC, whom we've known for YEARS (he's been with the company for more than 15 years), was previously a Program Director. |

*Looks at ridiculously high deductible she has to pay off for basic insurance through work* Uughh... I hope whatever's wrong is fixable. Stem cells sounds promising. Don't have much to report on my end other than that my paychecks that I'm finally collecting again are just straight-up credit card payments since that is just overflowing.
Well, it was fun driving myself into debt.
I should start looking for another job. Mine is hell, but I've still gotten too comfortable. |

| Well, watched "GLOW" season 2, practically in one night. That was good.
Been slogging through season 1 of "Taboo." It's OK, just really dreary. Every time I restart watching season 2 of "Westworld," I stop. Dunno why. It's just not grabbing me. I just can't make it through the second episode. Binge-watched "Barry" on HBO. That's a GREAT show. A bit close to "Breaking Bad," but about being an assassin, not meth cook. Also ended up binge-watching "Crashing," Peter Holmes' semi-autobiographical show about being a stand-up comedian in New York. It's funny, but probably more funny to me, being a fan of his stand-up. I don't know how it comes off to people who haven't seen/heard him before. Just wondering when the hell Amazon is going to drop "The Man in the High Castle" season 3. |

| Finished reading the first book in "A Series of Unfortunate Events." I didn't like it.
Also finished reading "Here Shall I Die Ashore," about Stephen Hopkins and his journeys to Jamestown (shipwrecking in Bermuda, causing a small mutiny and then inspiring a character in Shakespeare's "The Tempest") and his time on the Mayflower and his life in Plymouth Colony. Read it during our honeymoon road trip. My dad and I are direct descendants and I wanted to read about him before we visited some of the sights in Massachusetts. Have also been reading "Mark Twain in the Company of Women," taking a feminist approach at how Samuel Clemens was affected by the ladies in his life, particularly his wife, Olivia. It's a great read, especially since most critics complain that Livy either had a negative effect on his writing or no effect at all. He wrote his best-known works when he was with her. Even with him documented writing to friends, saying she edited his work, all these male critics and writers claim she really didn't. |
