It's things like Myspace, where you go through, "Oh she looks like that and has 5000 friends, oh shes got no makeup on she only has 100". It's the phenomenon where people mimic others and deny themselves their own individual appearance because of the societal norm.


...yeah that's pretty much what i was saying with the music videos and such.

And now he's fired. It's ridiculous.

I don't really see how his remarks were racist though. There are both white and black girls on the team (unless he was referring to only those on the court at the time the remarks were made).

Cyro is not coming back. The SBCs are one and a half years old. They are just wasting space. I guess about 1/4 of the participants no longer post.

Personally, I think it's time to close them. Just a thought.

I just finished watching the Gungrave series. Absolutely amazing. Hard to believe such an astounding anime came from such a mediocre game. I felt bad for Bunji's kitty. *tear*

Upon the branches of one of the mighty trees, within the Forest of Eternal Darkness, not too far from the two great fighters, stood a lone figure, covered by a great, black cloak and hood, blending in perfectly with the darkness that the forest was well known for. Obviously unafraid of the devastation that would soon occur, she slowly drew back her hood, to reveal her face.

She had long, wavy black hair, which matched her cloak. Her large eyes were a dark green and her skin was light; these features provided an odd contrast with her black cloak and the darkness all around her. She was very beautiful, yet seemed oddly familiar. Keeping her silence, she slowly reached within her cloak. A sound of metal against metal could be heard, as she drew an impressive looking sword from a sheath, hidden from plain sight. It's blade was long, approximately five feet in length, with an intricately designed edge, that did not seem of this world. The hilt and handle was beautifully crafted, resembling the hilt and handle of a rapier, but seemingly more complex.

With a swift movement, she thrust the blade deep into the monstrous trunk of the tree, in which the branch that she stood on belong to. Suddenly, from the hilt of the sword, there came out a very thin red mist that engulfed the entire blade. The faint image of a single monstrous eye appeared within the mist, which seemed seemed to belong to something even beyond the supernatural. The eye blinked, as if it were alive, as it focused upon the two fighters.

At last, breaking the silence, she said:
"My father is with us, as he promised."

IMO, A revival seems like it would require more people to participate again, not a good battle here and there.

White, what do you mean by "disregarding rules"? Can you give me an example? The reason i ask this is simply because i don't read sim fights anymore so I wouldn't really know what you're referring to.

seems more like it was the Spartan from the DOA series. You can tell because of some of the martial arts moves she pulls off. Besides, it's a known fact that the Spartan in the Halo game series is a guy. Therefore, the Spartan featured in this movie is most definitly not the Spartan of the games.

THe game is simple. I post an image and the person after me has to post an image that owns the image before it. then another person posts an image that has to own the image before that one, etc.

For example, if i were to post an image of a dog, the person of an image could post an image of a cat bitchslapping a dog. and then the person after that could post an image of a cat being thrown into a tree. make it fun, and make it creative.
