"That is the most ridiculous name I've ever heard," Imor said just before Alex slashed at him. He managed to jump back, landing slightly clumsily onto a pole behind him. "And I've had this spear my entire life... I'd be put at a disadvantage if I DIDN'T have it with me." Imor threw a few throwing stars in Alex's direction, jumping right behind them and aiming his spear at Alex's chest.

Imor followed through with his spear and span around on his feet, jumping as he saw Alex slash at his legs. As he landed, Imor swung his spear across Alex's upper legs, then jumped backwards onto a close by pole.

How often do you drink alcohol and how much do you drink when you do?
I've just realised I don't drink much alcohol at all... Mainly due to the taste/aftertaste. The ONLY alcoholic drink I can drink is a Snowball. AND it's one of my all around favourite drinks too. |

I managed to dig this game out from under my bed, and gawd I'd forgotten how great this game was! ^^
I liked this one sooooo much better than Abe's Oddysee. I just love the fast paced action mixed with the puzzly game. It's like, it requires thinking, but sometimes VERY quick thinking. The main plot: The Mudokons are being used to make Soulstorm Brew, and it's up to Abe to rescue them. He must travel through various caverns and the deeper parts of the Soulstorm Brewery and find his Mudokon friends, opening portals, using secret paths and possessing various creatures to help fulfil his task. So, anyone else played this? Thoughts? Laadeedaadeedaa? |

I feel like such a noobie... I drink maybe once a year, usually at Christmas... And all I have is a few Snowballs.

Of course Exoddus was three times as hard. It had three times as many Mudokons to save!

Well I've got Exoddus on the PC and I USED to have Odyssey on the PS1... I like Exoddus more.
Also, the last four minutes of Exoddus are FRICKING SOLID!!! EDIT: Wootage! I completed the game! I saved about 218 of the Mudokons I think... I must do a perfect completion of 300 Mudokons and then the complete opposite where I have to kill every single Mudokon... Except for the ones I HAVE to save to open portals and things. ...however, this is NOT a promise.
Remember back AGES ago Cairoi was gonna make an RPG for Xeogaming? Then after... Uh... Something happened that prevented him from doing so (Can't remember his reason for stopping), I took up that challenge? Twice? Well guess what... Not exactly hard to guess that this is gonna be the third time I'm gonna take that challenge. Hopefully, the phrase "Third time's a charm" will hold true! ^^ I'm open to any ideas for pretty much any aspect of the game, and it's still going to contain people named after the many members here, so if you want to be in it, tell me. |

Teundusia appeared unaffected by Jaques' shield thrust, floating quickly upwards after she was knocked slightly backwards. As her sword was struck, she span around in the direction Jaques' hit it and, in the blink of an eye, was striking his sword in the same direction, pretty much knocking it further down, giving her a small chance to move away again, and scan Jaques' next attack. With only this to be worried about for now, Teundusia easily moved out the way of Z-35's punch.
In the small space of time she had to react, she used one of her abilities as part of an emergency function of the suit and separated her own soul from her body just before Jaques unleashed his soul removal services. The suit kept her body up and was ready to move her to safety if the topic comes up. Sophie fiddled around with the battle suits controls briefly, finding a sweet little program. She activated it, causing a small round device to appear in her hand, the same spherical shape of the World's Smallest Nuke but a little bit larger. She threw it in the direction of her opponents, although to her dismay, nothing appeared to happen when it opened up. It had in fact released a small amount of gas which diffused into the regular air very fast, pretty much undetectable to any of the human senses, Teundusia's sixth sense or none of the battle suits. Taylt's gauntlets were telling him there was something abnormal in the air, but that was all it could detect. Sophie, Teundusia and Taylt would remain completely unaffected by the gas due to the affects of Hiamura Protect (Although Teudusia couldn't breath it in anyway, due to the fact her soul was still outside her body), but if any of their opponents breathed in the gas they should quickly fall victim to its affects: Sophie gains verbal control of that person. Taylt continued to stay back, charging energy, trying to work out what Sophie had actually done. All Sophie knew was that she threw the device, but it didn't appear to work. The suit had not given her such information, hopefully to prevent any form of reading her thoughts to find out what she had done. Taylt: "What was that?" Sophie: "Uh... I guess it was a dud..." I'm not entirely sure how well board related plots would pan out...
EDIT: Right, I've just downloaded RPG Maker XP, two fantastic tilesets for indoors and world maps (Although I can't find any global outdoor tilesets yet), I'm setting up the basic file needed to start producing maps, and (when this receives enough attention) I've got Vulkar to help me make maps. EDIT 2: Please change the title of this thread to "The Return of the Xeogaming RPG" (Last edited by Danny Phantom on 07-30-07 08:40 PM) |

Originally posted by Vulkar It would be heavily appreciated, but in the event that this isn't possible I can do an extensive search for character sprites... To submit your own character sprites I'll need movement sprites AND a battle image, which should be, as a general guide line, 120 pixel width by 170 pixel height, although you can give or take about 30 pixels from both width and height. EDIT: And Nagis, you can be a main protagonist then... I'm guessing that's what you want. Can't think why... (Last edited by Danny Phantom on 07-30-07 09:36 PM) |

Nagis: I sincerely doubt I'd be able to do something like that... RPG Maker's battle graphics consist of only a single picture for the character.
Fennicy: Here's some examples of sprites that I'd need - Walking sprites: Battle sprite: Lil Miss MRE: But I don't know what Elara wants to be! ^^ Ideas for plots still fully welcomed. Nothing related to the board itself please though... Unless the board themed words can easily be changed. |

Just look at the examples. That is ALL I can do I'm afraid...
The battles in RMXP are incredibly static too... They don't have the characters moving or anything. If I knew how to code C++ well enough to make proper games, I'd make it that way, but until then, the very limited RPG Maker XP (Without any Ruby code editing) is all I can do. EDIT: Just to let you all know, it's more likely I'll stick with this project this time, being older, more mature, and bored having done nothing for the past four or five weeks, and still got another 5 or 6 weeks until school starts again. And that's a pretty darn good animation. |

Man I love this show... It basically parodies many different people and TV shows. I'm not sure how many Americans will find these funny, as it mostly parodies British stuff. Although it does occasionally parody George Bush too, that's about the only American thing they parody.
