Thanks!
Hit up our new awesome arcade bar Up-Down. It went up earlier this year and is still doing really well. Would love to see this catch on and more bars like this pop up. Had quite a few drinks and got away without paying a penny... haha. My friends and I beat the X-Men arcade game! Got a bunch of money from the family as usual, since they know I really need it right now. lol Already forgetting my age! Can't be a good sign. |

Yeah I have some people on my wall like that too. Their posts basically boil down to "Merica', YEAH!", it's really lame. | |||

It blends in a little with Egyptian, Roman, and Greece times. I am a huge fan of these eras. Thus one of my friends thinks I'd love The Tutors, Rome, and Game of Thrones haha. I just think it's fascinating stuff, especially the technology they had back then to somehow build pyramids, and colosseum, it just seems absurd how they pulled things like that off. Would I want to live there though? Not sure. I also like stories revolved around the French Revolution.
Did you know One Piece is over 700 episodes now? |

An ice cube and some pepper probably. Nothing too fancy I guess. It sounds really good right about now though.
How much sleep do you normally get a night? (Last edited by Xeoman on 10-13-15 12:15 AM) |

Going through the Batman's again.
Watching 89' and Returns back to back was amazing. I am way more familiar with 89', and this was maybe even just my third viewing of Returns, but wow. I'm not even sure which one I like more. The first is a classic and Nicholson was a lot cooler than I remembered, and it has aged amazingly well with the BD release (some model figure action aside haha). Returns had a thicker Burton atmosphere to it, whom I'm admittedly not huge on it, but this guy was so awesome with Batman. Both Penquin and Catwoman were a huge highlight and stole the show. I may just have to say I like both equally for their own strengths, and personally, I like these a lot more than the Nolan films. It's so easy to see how TAS pulls from these the most as well. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill ARE Batman and the Joker to me though. Now, I'm trying to give Forever another shot, and I seriously don't even know if I can finish this. The dialogue is utterly abysmal. I remember liking Batman & Robin as a KID, but I know it's probably even worse. I probably won't even bother. Val Kilmer and George Clooney were terrible choices. Jim Carrey seems to be the only good thing, but both him and Tommy Lee Jones feel like they're both trying too hard to mimic Jack Nicholson's Joker. |

Yeah I'd say Begins is still probably my favorite of the Nolan films. |

Do you guys have any creative, fun, snarky ways to answer this? I guess it's something that legitimately bugs me about society (or I'm just pessimistic and it's like a trigger since I still don't know what I'm doing with my life, but caring less and less about work and realizing it doesn't define me at all!). I was at a wedding Friday and this was like the cliche' go to conversation for a few people I met for the first time, and most people you bump into in life it seems. I'd say it's just as bad as talking about the weather or something. Thoughts and counter attacks? |

Where's Katana...
Honestly, I regretted watching it instantly, but I couldn't stop the video. It shows A LOT. Too much. But well I'm still pumped. OMG I saw Episode 3 in theaters once by myself. Sums up how crazy I am about these haha. Can't wait! |

With Halloween creeping up on us, what are some of your favorite horror/thriller/scary movies? Of the ones I've watched this year I would say Jacob's Ladder (the real Silent Hill movie!) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are some of my top favorites. I finally watched Night of the Living Dead and thought it was pretty entertaining as well. Guess I should follow up with Dawn of the Dead soon! Also sad to see Wes Craven pass this year. I'm a huge fan of the Elm Street movies, for the most part. Sadly I can't say his other stuff has been all that great, very hit or miss. But I did enjoy People Under the Stairs, Red Eye, and dare I say it, even Scream wasn't that bad of a watch honestly. On the other hand, I couldn't even finish The Last House on the Left, and I thought The Serpent and the Rainbow was horrible. Hit or miss haha... |

Originally posted by Lord Vulkas Mormonus I'm still not sure what to think of Kylo Ren (spelling?)... but on the other hand, I think it's kind of cool we've got another cool iconic looking villain. I'm guessing he/her is maybe the new leader of the Sith/Empire, with the cool silver Stormtrooper person being the second in command or something. It's interesting that both the trailer and poster don't show Luke. Either it'll be a big surprise when we inevitably see him, or this movie will just end up focusing more on Han Solo, and maybe the sequels on Luke. Do you think Han is going to die? I guess there's speculation all the way back to him dying in Return of the Jedi, apparently. I wonder if they'd have the balls or good reason/plot to pull that off. I don't want it to happen, but I'd accept it if it's good, and otherwise I don't want the new stuff focusing too much on the oldies anyways. Pretty interesting and cool that there seems to be a high emphasis on female characters. I'm cool with that shift. Assuming this new girl has some kind of link to the original characters. Luke's daughter? |
