| Super envious you got to see Lincoln's blood on something!! Freaking cool.
I know there's a place near Ford's Theater that claims they have Lincoln's last bowel movement. 
Bran and I did a tour of medieval walled cities in the Mediterranean last month. I think we visited at least 30 churches. |

| Today was the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt. I've been blasting Agincourt Carol and the St. Crispin's Day speech from "Henry V" all the live long day between things we're doing.

| Anyone got plans? I went to a couple yard displays last night in the Valley. One was a maze in someone's backyard and it was freaking awesome. Miles above Knott's Berry Farm and Universal Studios in every respect. The other was more family-friendly, being in someone's front yard with animatronic skeletons and light and fountain show set to Halloween music. Brandon's band is performing on Halloween, but then I think we're going to a hit up a friend's party after since I rarely get to see her these days. We're supposedly doing a carnival at work, but since it's falling on one of the days I have to wear a uniform I don't think I get to dress up. Bummer. |

The iconic L.A. restaurant I loved before they shut it down to refurbish it and then didn't re-open for 6 years is loaded with douchebags now. 
People keep spoiling "The Walking Dead." Thankfully I stopped caring about that show last season when they spoiled their own show posting a picture of a dead main character on Facebook before the episode aired on the westcoast. |

| Fuck this day.
The woman who lives behind my work upped her creep factor by 1,000. Last week she was only throwing rotten oranges over the wall and then climbing in the tree and making faces at the clients. Today we found a sliced-off rat head on the back porch mat and more rotten oranges, with some hitting the vans. Then later I witnessed a suicide, while out with the clients. We watched a woman jump off a cliff. Fuck. Today. So HARD. |

Humor them at first in words and then ignore them in actions. It's not their life to mold or mend. I'll be damned if someone else tries to take credit for this mess I've made myself. 
I got asked the dreaded "When are you getting married?" by several Filipino relatives I NEVER see on any sort of regular basis, while at my grandmother's funeral a few months ago. I'd laugh and attempt to redirect them. The worst, though, isn't blood-related to me (married to my mother's cousin) and tried to make off with his idea of the share of my grandmother's stuff when she was alive. He kept at it, even when I said, "I'm just not that interested in getting married" saying, "You should get married. It's what you're supposed to do." Really pissed me off that he and other relatives who've never bothered to contact us before, or provide any sort of help, showed up to the funeral and kept holding their cameras over her casket and taking thousands of pictures. What's your favorite holiday and why? |

| Halloween party at work went well. I threw together random steampunk and faire garb and my boss guessed I was a time traveler, so I went with that. Had lots of fun dancing with the clients.
My co-workers ended up not even dancing (which was to be expected). The woman who was trying to claim credit for putting it all together didn't even dress up, but still was just as mad that the other woman didn't work on the choreography. All the same, Brandon pumped out a great, edited-down version of "Thriller" in record time, and I appreciate it. |

| I was just remembering one year I went trick-or-treating as a kid and the new family around the corner, who had their lights on, answered and said they don't believe in Halloween and to go away, just as their daughter walked past in the background wearing a HALLOWEEN COSTUME.

| Halloween itself was pretty blah for us. Had to sew together a piece of Brandon's costume after we had to run to three different costume shops looking for a red cape and ending up with a crappy black Dracula one for $20.

I also Sharpie'd on his belly. His band played the Doll Hut again. Stitch and I went to Downtown Disney beforehand to grab a bite while we were in our costumes. Sort of forgot I was showing a lot of cleavage until I kept getting stared at (with harsh glares from various women.) After the show went to a friend's party. She was already beyond shit-faced, but she really loved the hostess gift I got her. I bought her an apron since she loves them so. She spent the rest of the party wearing ONLY that apron. At one point she walked up to me and goes, "Look at this cute apron my best friend just got me!!" and then looked up and laughed and then fell down. Had more fun the next couple days going out to the apple orchards, picking up some cider, and staring at the fall foliage. Last night celebrated Dia de los Muertos in Olvera Street. I tend to have a lot more fun at Day of the Dead events than I do with Halloween. Anyway, Mom only got 4 trick-or-treaters this year and she was pretty bummed. I mean, she was so looking forward to giving out all the candy to the happy, little kids. |
