| I loved Moore's stuff when I was in high school. I had a copy of Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal when it came out, but a friend borrowed it and when I tried to get it back she kept insisting it was her copy.
I'm guessing the Poe story was "The Cask of Amontillado"? I really should pick him back up again. Finally read the last volumes of "Runaways." What a sorry fucking ending to a great series. Terry Moore was the absolute worst thing to happen to this brilliant Brian K. Vaughan work. While I disliked Joss Whedon's arc (it pissed me off and felt like mediocre fan fiction), Moore was SHIIIIIIT. "Runaways" just went into a freaking tailspin when Vaughan left. |

Flour alternatives are expensive. 
Bought a $12 bag of almond flour for a friend with Celiac disease. Fuck. A mutual friend was too cheap to pick up a $5 bag of rice flour to make curry with so she could be included in the meal and just decided to use regular white flour anyway. My friend ended up buying a bag of chips she thought were gluten-free, but accidentally skipped a line while reading the ingredients and ended up bedridden for a day. |

| I want to say years, because there's a few songs I've just started singing to myself out of the blue from time to time over the past decade. They're usually things like Poxy Boggards songs. "Milford Haven" has been lodged in my noggin for the last couple revolutions 'round the sun.

| It's their Jack Nicklaus Golden Bear series. You can find the strawberry, mango, and other flavors all over, but mint is damn near impossible to snag these days. I was buying it like crazy last year, but again it's like they've decided to stop making it.
Bran and I found it at this sandwich place once and got all excited talking about it with the owner, how he was the first place we'd seen with it in a while. The next time we came through he was charging $2.75 a can instead of the expected $1. The last time I've found it was at a truck stop in Northern California, on the way up to Washington. | I wondered how they were going to mess with "Days of Future Past." I read the book a long time ago (though many of the details are hazy except for the fact that it was Kitty Pryde who went back in time to warn the X-Men and not Bishop (as in the '90s Fox cartoon) or apparently Wolverine in the new movie.
And now they're going to do "Age of Apocalypse." Anyway, "Last Stand" was a piece of shit. Rogue was ruined in that film, and I hear the few scenes she was in were cut from the theatrical release of DOFP (was that still true?). |

| I tried playing the GTA V MMO once. Once. Everyone went out of their way to chase around my character and kill him. Yep, I totally wanted to be trolled by teens who do nothing but play the game all day and then call me a "fag."
I'm pretty guilty of playing FPSes since my favorite games these days are the "Fallout" series, and I've been playing "Bioshock" games, but games like "Shadow of the Colossus," "God of War," and "Katamari Damacy" still have my heart. Hm.. remember when you were required to read terrible books about other young people? I feel like it wasn't until high school when I started to get good reading lists (which by that point I'd lost interest in reading anything a teacher put in front of me). |

| I thought that exact same thing, and I'm just going off the preview stuff they showed at WonderCon (which was when he first comes out of the water to when he starts fighting the one we see over the tram track).
Yeah, I definitely felt like he was another version of the Cloverfield monster, which was a bit irritating since I can't stand Abrams and how he thinks he's such a genius creating an American monster movie monster. |

Around 6th grade, where I started getting books on Greek myths, I started liking the reading. Seventh grade, though still had some shit to wade through. Shabanu pisses me off so much.
