Went for a midnight pub crawl last night with a few friends. Man... bars are cool on your 21st birthday. Any bartender worth their salt gives you your first drink free... and we happened to be a on street where there were several bars.

| I'm fine. I wasn't feeling too hot this morning (because I had like 10 different things. Note to you virign drinkers out there: mixing is NOT a good thing) When the bartenders would offer me my free drink, I told them to surprise me which led to several different strong drinks.
Though even at the time, I knew that was a stupid thing to do, I don't regret it. Hey, free liquor, a really nice variety, and all it cost me was a belly-ache the next morning. I'm not doing that again, but for my midnight pub crawl, nothing could have been better.
Pretty much I got really buzzed, to the point where random things were funny. Oddly enough, I write perfectly, after heavily drinking. Got home, for some reason thought it would be funny to write out an intoxicated post on LJ, and it turned out perfectly spelled and such. The only thing that was that I was putting in jokes I thought were funny at the time and as I look back on that now, it's just randomness with a bunch of exclamation marks.  |

| I'm kinda lame. Most of my stunts aren't phsyical.
I've talked down a few cops before. I was taking pictures, for my paper, of this suspect's vehicle, after police finally caught him, ending his high speed chase. Five officers surrounded me, yelled at me to delete the pictures from my camera, but there was no legal jurisdiction over that (there wasn't a line put up, it was for the press, etc and so forth). I told them as a member of the press, I had every right to be there. They threatened arrest. I persisted. Eventually I pretended to start deleting the pictures, but couldn't figure out how to do so with that camera. They figured I was just some punk kid that was intrigued by police actions, realized they had bigger fish to fry, and let me go. It appeared on the front page of our paper the next day. Yeah, there was pretty stupid. And lame.
Otherwise, when I was a kid, I jumped off the top of my stairs, using a grocery bag for a parachute. Knew it wouldn't do much good, but hey. (Last edited by Rogue on 01-16-06 04:00 AM) |

| Try Craig's List. They list jobs.. at least they used to. Too many people have been using the site for joke listings, so here's hoping it's still up.
Also the problem with the site is how many people don't follow through with inquiries. Multiple people post on there about wanting writers and yet they don't even dignify any of my e-mails with reponses. *shrugs* Also they tend to only post for the big cities and in the vicinty of them. Sorry about the job situation. |

I work in my newspaper office, doing basic clerical and sometimes putting together pieces of the newspaper when the editors have nervous break-downs. Otherwise, my occacionally paying job is freelance writing and public relations rep for people who need it done. For the non-paying side, my latest stint has been a techie for the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Helped put together the 30th anniversary convention for the movie and cult following, in Vegas, last summer. Interviewed a few of the special guests who were a part of the making of the movie and published articles about them for the program. Also I go to cons and write about 'em. All the non-princesses just seem stronger and infinitely better than the stupid princesses. Most of them wait for the prince to come to them and do nothing, but dream of true love and all that crap leaving no aspirations of their own. Fa Mu Lan was definitely the strongest Disney woman. I just wish Disney didn't screw with her legend. Though it was mostly correct, they left out a few things that made her much more badass.
