| Been watching Carnivale, which is fairly enigmatic and this concerns me since there's only been two seasons and I wonder if they answer everything by the end or if they were canceled before they could do all that. I'm determined to not look up if that's what happened since I'd rather be completely surprised.
Not sure what show I'll start into once I'm done with it. Brandon says Breaking Bad, but soon we're also finally getting into new episodes of shows we're watching like House and Mad Men (FINALLY!). And Walking Dead, I guess.  |

My friend, who's allergic to just about everything to some varying level of severity to the point that she'll eventually live in a bubble one day I'm sure, somehow became able to consume so many things she's normally allergic to without any sort of trouble. Maybe it works the other way too? Anyway, fuck that it's almost 2 in the morning and my grandmother is up (despite being on medication that's supposed to sedate her, but is FAILING) and wandering around screaming that my aunt and uncle need her bed because they're coming right now to spend the night. No one's coming and she's hallucinating. Fuck these pills the doctor gave her that we're supposed to use sparingly because they're obscenely strong, and yet these little tablets aren't doing SHIT. I don't want to risk over-dosing her by giving her another one just to make her sleep.

I usually just bare with whatever's bothering me, but for some reason certain songs do get me in a better mood. Ah, Jeff Buckley's cover of "Hallelujah." Sadly, Buckley died, but this song lives on. I don't listen to this song frequently, but it soothes me when I do. And for some reason Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls" makes everything better. Most things, anyway. This is obviously not going to be as deserving of a Fuck You, but here goes... Seriously, fuck my fucking Auntie Beth. My boyfriend's birthday is on Tuesday. She knows this. She's supposed to take my grandmother back TODAY, and Brandon and I were going to go out of town for his birthday. And of course, after she had us get up at 6 this morning to unlock my grandmother's house for some delivery men dropping off the new stove to replace the one that was stolen, she calls to tell us she's not coming to pick up my grandmother until NEXT SUNDAY because she's supposedly sick. She's not sick. She just doesn't want to take my grandmother. I'm sure she has no intent on paying for me for this extra week. Lola has been here three weeks already when she's supposed only be here for two weeks and then Beth will have her for two and so on. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but just the idea that she doesn't care about what plans I might have absolutely pisses me off. (Last edited by Rogue on 01-29-12 02:22 PM)
