| When I thought my life really sucked, I was reading the local paper this morning and read about this family in my city. Their son, who was just about to finish nursing school was running in a marathon in Philadelphia and collapsed and died. The family was really depending on him, as he had a job lined up after graduation and they really need the money.
And then... THEN his dad recently went to the bank to get the family's jewelry that was being kept in a safety deposit box and brought it all home and that night they were robbed. WHAT THE FUCK?! This poor family. Seriously, I really hope fate fucks up whatever asshole robbed them. |

| Just had Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls. We picked up a pint and ate it at the Griffith Observatory.
I know some people have said it's not worth the hype, but it was pretty good. Not as good as Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream, but definitely better than Jimmy Fallon's Late Night Snack. |

On top of that, since I went into journalism/communications, they made up some BS rule that we needed 15 EXTRA units (in ANY area except communications) along with my 85 GE credits, so we'd be well-rounded students. I can't stress enough how you really need to study the obstacle course before you hear you jumped through the wrong flaming hoop. Find out what you need to get out! But seriously, have tons of fun, college is GREAT. |
