Reddish, I suppose. Saw it while standing on a mountain in Arizona right after Thanksgiving dinner a few years back. There was lightning over the next town over.

| All night I've been having trouble getting the board to load and I kept getting SQL error messages on completely black windows.
The last one read, "Couldn't connect to MySQL server Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 113" Not sure if there's something wrong or how it could be fixed. Maybe it's me? :/ |

| I can never really remember things in order, but I remember picking up little seashells outside of this big cave that all these tourists were walking in and out of in Hawaii. My dad says that was when I was 3. Can't remember anything else before that, I suppose.

| So some time back, Elara asked in the answer-ask thread what would be my ideal pizza and I decided to put it into practice. Got some rosemary focaccia bread, garlic alfredo sauce, and capicola, and just grated a lot of mozzarella off the brick we have, chopped up some onion and mushrooms, and threw on some turkey and salami and baked it all in a Pyrex dish (since I don't have a deep dish).
Not long after pulling it out of the oven, it was GONE. At least I got a slice. 
Looking forward to going to the museum tomorrow. Been dying to see the new Dinosaur Hall. Had fun running around the Griffith Observatory with steampunks.

| Went into a pizza coma over the pie I made this afternoon. I mentioned it in the Xeogaming Office thread, but it had a rosemary focaccia crust, garlic alfredo sauce, meats, mushrooms, onion, and lots of cheese.
Just had a cheeseburger (just the meat and cheese, no bread) and a salad with creamy Caesar dressing I got for 50 cents at Fresh & Easy. Good stuff. |

| Surprise rain was pretty much a fluke. It only seemed to happen while I was at a restaurant by the docks last night. Freaking kids were standing on chairs to look out the window shouting, "It's RAINING?!?!?!?!"
It just went back to being hot today when the sun came out around noon. Meh. |

| Finally saw Thelma and Louise. It was playing on one of the PBS channels late last night. While I liked it, I also REALLY hated it. I mean, Louise was being such a good friend and Thelma was such an idiot.
I don't really think of it as much of a feminist film as people seem to think it is. |

| Heh, that all depends. I suppose of all my favorite movies the one that would be considered "bad" is Cannibal: The Musical. It's definitely not an Oscar winner, and most people would think it's crap or boring, but damn it, I LOVE it.

| I've been getting error messages all night tonight too, though I didn't get any otherwise today. Wasn't able to get on for a couple hours.
Oddly enough last night it was all MySQL errors, but this time I kept getting Gateway time-out notifications. EDIT: Here's the message I was getting: "Gateway Time-out The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application." EDIT again: Just now have been getting this message repeatedly on every other page I've flipped through, although it's gone away a couple times after reloading. Here's the message: "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@xeogaming.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." | For some reason I've been listening to John Denver's "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" a lot lately. It's oddly comforting.
Although I've never been a farmer or lived in a farming area (though my city used to be the Dairy Valley), I guess the idea of giving up the hustle and bustle of city life and taking on a life in the country is something I've often thought about these days. That and my parents listened to a lot of folk and bluegrass when I was a kid, so this is something of a slice of childhood innocence. (Last edited by Rogue on 09-07-11 03:42 AM) |

And thanks to whatever parent taught their child to WAIT their turn for something and pulled her sister back while I was playing with this exhibit at the California Science Center, telling her to wait HER turn. Holy crap! You never see that there. Most of the kids will force their way in front of you, even peel your hands off of things, or they mess with what you're doing. |
