I haven't had a tic tac all year. The orange tic tacs are bitchin'.
White Tic Tacs remind me of marshmallows. Hard, gritty marshmallows. |

Whoa. Yeah that sounds interesting. Where is it? I wanna read it now! Hah, I feel the same way about the story I'm writing, I posted it on a couple of boards and only one person cared to read it. I think I even had it here for a while, but it only got like, six views. Three of which were from me...

I think I've read a little bit of Darkfang. I know on the OLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD old old old old AR, I read a small excerpt from it, and on Xeogaming one time I read the beginning. If it's here, I'll make a note to read it sometime tonight as I will with yours, Beo. | |||

Originally posted by Beowulf Cor Leonis This is advice the best of us should take. I've been handing in half ass work for so long, never thinking once about this. But anyways, I liked the story a lot, it kept my attention the entire way through. I liked how the tension between Rebekah and the realtor was never ending, and that twist with how she was safe the entire time was very nicely done. The death scenes in the beginning were pretty graphic, but don't change that; I think there are enough subtle aspects in the story (like the foreshadowing used with the black cat on the calendar) that the violence is balanced out. To take more words from Beo, keep it up. |

Oh yeah. The idea of the assignment this was used for was to use a certain set amount of grammar rules in the story (this was about the only one in the class that used all of the rules on the list the teacher provided). I was sorta writing around that. Thats why I called it "A Grammatically Correct Trip"
The song is "What Goes On" by the Velvet Underground |

I failed math, with a final exam grade of a 17.5. I don't ahve to take summer school, nor will I have to retake the course. So what the hell happened here? I failed the rest of the quarters too. | |||

Ghost seems like a character that would be difficult to tell what he's thinking, even though another character can depend on him on many occasions. He seems very organized and swift. And though he knows all these tricks, it doesn't seem like he'd turn on his allies and use those tricks on them. He's pretty caring, if he took the time to help out Rebekah. And he's calculating and thinks ahead. I got that from the whole conversation about the door handle, and how he ruined it before Rebekah bought it so he wouldn't really owe her since it wasn't her property. | |||

breaking the bump rule... but it's worth getting in trouble.
Post more, I just finished reading and I'm really interested. Its a weird coinicdence that the Wolt (Beowulf in the beginning) is the same name of the character in my story (Walt, Walter, close enough at least). Haha, though they couldn't be much farther apart in character. I like how Beowulf looks heroic, but is still having the thoughts of an average man. Post more, I'll read it when I get back online. |

The opening theme song for this show is absolutely amazing. They're all giggling like they're high or something. And then in the end they're sleeping. I missed it the past two weeks, but the one with the conman is still so striking. LIke, when he's in the house and is "CALL ME DADDY" I was like "Awww... yeah... okay..." | |||

They aren't cancelling Samurai Champloo, at least what I heard was that they're switching comedy onto sunday's and action onto weekdays. So we'll get to see it every night?
I hope to god thats true and I heard that right. This show rules too hard to get cancelled. I love the opening theme... |

Oh yeah....
TicTacs > Chiclets At least TicTacs don't try to be candy. Chiclets pop up on you and are like "HAH WE'RE GUM" and you're like "Oh noz" and like, you swallow a chiclet thinking its candy and its all like "And we'll be in you for the next seven years, bitch." TicTacs are all "Hey... lemme freshen you up, come on champ, look up, you've got a bright night ahead of you". And then you realize you were taking neither TicTacs nor Chiclets but dropping mad acid. |

I've read the beginning, where Psycho is at the rally with the news reporter and the rebels, but thats as far as I have gotten in my reading. I'll look for it and post a comment in the thread (causing more bumpery, but I guess it's okay figuring the forums activity). I can't quite formulate an opinion much beyond the fact that Darkfang looks worth reading, until I read it later of course. Also, would you suppose it was better to read this portion of the story first, before I went any farther with Darkfang? It does explain a bit about Psycho, so my guess is it probably was. | |||

One reason is because he had to have a dumbshit rattail mullet for about ten years of his life. That would piss me off at least. | |||

Here it is again, this time edited (and it even has a name!). I haven't written much lately, but I think I have enough to keep you reading until I write more. There arent' chapters, so it'll be broken up into two or three paragraphs per post. I'm gonna copyright it for safety (copyrighting it because I want to get it published eventually - maybe its just me being overconfident, but I feel like I have a chance). Feedback would be greatly appreciated; the only past feedback I recieved was that the story was overdetailed and even boring. Thats what I get for showing people what I do for fun. I'm not writing for reviews, but they are greatly appreciated. And now, without further ado, I give you River Notes.
-------------------- River Notes Copyright (c) 2005 by Alexander Robinson When silence came to stalk him, he fled to the shore, with a pale hand in his. It was hard to find such serenity in the evolving world, and when it came, it seemed to rattle all thought in his head with a hum, a high pitched squeal that was entirely nonexistent, yet so tangible as if a voice came to soothe him. Music, whistles, voices and outbursts of all noise were what he was born with, and what he would live with forever on. Silence fell rarely in the city on the beach, Station One as it was named, where the king of all noise would sleep. And when the noise did finally stop, there was over stimulating silence. So chaotic seemed the world that nobody seemed to stop and realized when the silence came. They only thought of their destinations. A man ran to the beach, where the waves always spoke to him, always roaring, with the pebbles below scattering around as quickly as the people in the city. His silence was no different than anyone elseˇ¦s, for donˇ¦t all see a bit of tragedy when all falls quiet? When will it all start again, when will it start after that? And the questions that binds the mind until it snaps into reality once again and is pushed along by an oncoming wave, as if we were those very pebbles. The ocean, too, calms itself every once in a while. This is seemingly peaceful to some, but the majority tends to be pessimistic, and predict the coming waves. In his world, the waves never stopped. Midday was cold, with a moon covering the sky to the north, reflecting past the froth and jetsam on the southern waters. Astonishing, an astronomers dream, the moon above these lands. So large, so close, the day need not be tracked by the rise and fall of the sun, but by the shrink and growth of the moons violent orbit round the planet. Craters and valleys could be seen from where one stood, anywhere and everywhere; another planet itself, cold, dead, and yet so alive with myth. The century turned, and study of astrology was abandoned, locomotive smoke churned in the skies, and gunshots drowned out any thought of safely staying in one place. Times were hectic, crime was high, but few remembered that the moon was still higher. Individuals such as the man on the beach knew this still held true. |
