Nagis: Trust me, I have never been a big TV fan for ... years. I never watch TV, don't have cable in my room and I don't care to go downstairs to turn on the tube. I'll admit I got into Heroes and Lost because of the hype, and my friends. I get together with a bunch of people these nights to watch these shows.
But seriously, I've gotten hooked on them (though, Lost not so much anymore. I'll continue to watch it with friends though). The only other show I can think of that I used to reguarly watch like these, was Smallville when it was newer (painful to admit. That show just ... sucks now. Well, its sucked since forever). But yeah if someone asked me "What are you favorite TV shows", besides sit-coms and comedies, it'd be an extremely small list. Oh, and I don't touch Reality Poop. Rogue: Yeah, I'm glad they didn't finish him off completely or anything. But holy m e g a powers Batman, that ending to tonights episode was legendary. Simply put, Heroes has balls. I LOVED it!!! Not to mention this entire episode completely changed my mind about how I looked at him. Seriously, I think he's awesome now. (Last edited by Chrono on 02-27-07 04:38 AM) |

Getting ready to watch a movie I should have already seen by now ...
|
Well, I've seen some of it on TV. But it was on the AMC channel. Commercials galore, and horrible sound. (restricted) | (restricted) | (restricted) |

Nagis, you'd probably dig these guys. Greece band that's Power/Folk like. Tougher vocals (like Grave Digger). Really awesome. Samples here. Marching to Glory is a great song! There's about 50 new bands I've heard this week, I might post more later. Wolf from Sweden. Awesome traditional / power stuff. Tarot, epic heavy metal. Pretty awesome. Tons more but I'm tired.

That's awesome. I still don't know how you've managed with Dial up for so long ...
|
By the way Spoiler: eMule seriously has everything, no kidding. Might take a whole day to get albums from time to time, but I download like 10-20 at once and its awesome. I've gotten gigs and gigs of metal off eMule lately. =D

I've kind of strayed away from stuff like Rhapsody, going towards the more aggressive stuff.
|
Regardless, I will still call Luca Turilli's Prophet of the Last Eclipse "Matrix Metal". One symphonic band I've heard lately is Moonlight Agony. Again, not always my thing these days, but when I'm in the mood for this stuff its pretty awesome. They're pretty similar to Dragonland, and somewhat Rhapsody (less opera-ish).

TP: It was pretty sweet. An odd story to follow, and kind of felt more artistically focused, but it was still awesome. Ending kind of left me a little empty though. Where the hell are other good Sci-Fi's like that?
|
It doesn't match up to Aliens or the Terminator movies to me, but it was great old GOOD Sci-Fi (seriously Sci-Fi thesedays just ... sucks?). Oh, and the music was incredible. Reminded me of Deus Ex. (one of my all time favorite games) Club: Just a reminder, I didn't like it for about 6 episodes in or so. I don't know why, I just really didn't like it at first, but eventually it grew on me. So yeah, just be sure to give it a good chance I guess. (Last edited by Xeochrono on 02-28-07 05:05 AM)

Ah! That is one I really need to see still. I hear its extremely gory and wicked. :O
|
Kurt Russel is awesome too, I mean... he's Snake! Escape from New York was great, but I've heard Escape from LA is terrible. I need to see that too. A few of my favorite classic Sci-Fi's would be: - Aliens (the influence in Halo is so extreme its funny) - Terminator 1/2 (though the kid in 2 is so damn annoying) - Total Recall - Robocop Seriously, The Fifth Element was one of the better "newer" original and engaging Sci-Fi's, but other than that, ugh. I want some out of this world creativity! My posts are really chunky right now. I should probably go to bed.

I'm pretty sure it does, actually. I've just heard its tons harder to keep it steady on the harder difficulties. |

So I officially had some "drinkies" today.
|
lolz im'm drunke up an posting skljol No. This isn't one of those worthless posts. But I did get "tipsy" today ... at work! Turns out some guy had some stuff in his trunk, and they kept egging me on and whatnot. I figured I'd give it a shot, so I had about 2-3 shots of Saki. Yep, Saki. Eventually I started to feel it. Kind of got "relaxed" and my legs seemed wiggly. Then one of my co-workers sat down next to me and said stuff I don't even know, but I heard him say "fanny pack" and I completely lost it. I don't know, it was just a funny word or something. An hour later I was completely fine. Didn't vomit or anything. Despite my stomach issues, I didn't vomit. Wonder if anything can ever make me vomit? I've only thrown up twice in my life. Whoopdie doo I guess I'm in the club now. Saki! By the way it tasted like a sour, old, weird version of Sparkling Grape Juice. The guy filled up my second cup like half full (why it was probably 3 shots), so I mixed it with Sprite, which made the taste worst. But oh well. All I'm going to say is, from the latest videos I've seen ... Armored Core 4 looks godly. |
