That's the way to go, I think haha. I remember last year everyone I knew who did get it still got pretty sick.

Not to... *knocks on wood*, but I have to say I've been healthier and my allergies haven't been that bad since I stopped taking allergy meds about a month or two back. Who wouldn't thought that? Guess I was maybe a little addicted and they were unnecessary, blocking my natural immune system. No idea.

I still fluctuate a lot though, I've either got a runny nose or my sinuses are too dry.

Stock up on that Airborn and Vitamin C Rogue!!


... I said yet. Mainly because I get it this weekend.

So here's how my birthday went for those of you who are interested. I had a long day trip down to Columbus from Rome, GA. We were on our trip back and we saw a fire. Immediately we jumped out of our car and called 911. Turns out that my phone was caught in the mix and wound up on the side of the road a good 45 minutes away from home.

Yes... I saw my inlaws had a good time, but lost my phone.

Worst year of my life because my parents suck at Christmas and family and my phone is gone.

Well I found out that I can install an app onto my phone from my computer to locate it. HOWEVER. It would really help if my phone was charged.

Sorry I have been out and about. I have been trying to find a job here in Rome. Apparently the guy in charge of hiring is not in today. Weee. But yeah Eric and I suggested right now would be a good time for me to get a night time job to work on saving up to get out of this town. Now that I'm out of the military and waiting a month to get my benefits back, so I can go to college... I have been stuck with three choices. Go to Alabama and check out University of Alabama. Go back to Columbus and go to Columbus State University, or go to Florida and go to college at University of West Florida.

No clue on what to do next, but things are looking pretty bleak here in Rome, GA. I never really wanted to stay this long here anyway.

Going to Columbus would mean having to work as a buffer on the drama between my sister and mother.

Going to Alabama would mean having to have my father at my house after his work every other weekend.

Going to Pensacola, FL would mean my mother would be more paranoid than ever because my biological dad lives there

If I don't make a choice soon though, we may wind up homeless.

So I hate to just come on to this board and rant and rave about how sucky my life is. It's not. I got the greatest husband the greatest kid and the most supportive family if I run out of funds or something along those lines. My husband got hired on permanent as his job so it's more money for him. However I have been hitting this hard patch with my neighbors. After repeatedly being called weak, I turned around and told her to get off my case. I go outside and all they do is talk bad about me. Won't leave my name out of their conversations and how I'm a "bad" mother from leaving their lips. I have been told repeatedly to ignore it and they will eventually turn on each other. Well that ship has sailed and gone. They turned on their daughter and two days later it's back to the same "We're a Family and a better family than those people next door are" mode. To be fair I have grown exhausted of sitting outside on my own with out Eric around, but I still have to pony up and sit outside to smoke. After all there is a no smoking clause in my house. Mainly between the two of us. We just think it's disgusting inside the house.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is I have tried EVERYTHING to get these neighbors to just shut up about me. To be fair my name shouldn't be leaving their lips. At all. But I hear the stupidest quotes ever about how she belittles my family. My spirituality. My choices in how I want to raise my daughter. The fact that we were late on her shots(fixed now). I try my hardest to ignore the snide comments. I wish that people weren't such complete asses. I can't move on from this because they literally stalk me every time I walk outside. So now I have switched blaring my music in my ear phones so I don't hear anything.

On top of that. They won't stop leaving their car in park. They run it all night and one time it work up D'arcy around like 1 am. I can't take it anymore. I was beyond livid and pissed off.

The only thought that runs through my head is... This is what it's like living next to white trash.
