Some of those sales are usually for pre approved bidders, and you have to pay the buy it now price, which annoys me. Dont put something up for sale you dont want to sell for 9 bucks, but seriously, if I was the winning bidder, I would force the seller to take only 9 dollars for it (then turn around and sell it back on Ebay for 1000 dollars and buy a new PS3 and make almost a 280 dollar profit I would then use to buy a Wii XD.

Desroth lost his balance, falling downward towards the magma below. He managed to right himself and open his wings.
He slowed to a stop with a few backward thrusts, and looked up to see the rest of the pillar almost about to crush him into the lava. He couldnt dodge, since he didnt have enough time, so he would have to come up with something new. He swung Arzul, the aura extending out and cutting the pillar in half. It peeled open and split around him, barely missing him. He brought the blade back to his side, and looked up at Oebuss. Desroth thought to himself "He wants to make this a air battle I am guessing. This will get complicated..." Desroth raised his altitude to match where the pillar had been, and floated there. The best offense would be to wait and see what his opponent would do and turn it back on him if it was possible. |

As is said above, this is part 2 of the "Who Owns A Wii Now" Thread. It has been a little over a day since the last shipment of Wii's for this year hit shelves much to the delight of the crazy people who couldnt get one the day of the launch.
Personally, I camped out with a certain someone and his mom and bro to get my hands on the almighty Wii, and being 2nd/3rd in line for it after that someones brother got in line first for us, we both got one. So once more, who camped out again to try to geth their hands on one? How was it? Did the people try to kill you becuase you and the people you were with got there first and each got a ticket to buy a Wii from that store and everyone who was last couldnt get one? |

I really dont understand the logic of posting about getting the Wii on the second shipment when this thread is about getting it right when it came out, but whatever.
Me and a certain someone got the Wii on the second shipment camping out all night for it at Best Buy. 2nd and 3rd in line and what not. They were so orderly about it, they handed out tickets and only let 4 or 5 people come in at a time to pick up the Wii. For all that waiting, we got in and out withing 5 minutes, but in that 5 minutes, like 3 cop cars had pulled up and were watching to make sure no one got jumped walking out with the Wii. And I have to say, this was the best 367 dollar investment I have ever made. Red Steel and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 rock out loud, and if you dont want to buy anything else but the Wii set, Wii Sports is the single greatest game to showcase the Wii, and is sure to keep you playing long after your arm starts to hurt like a mother. After Christmas, I think I will be getting Zelda, Elebits, and FE 11, along side with a 1 gig SD card. And does anyone else think that they should have put a 1 gig flash memory into the Wiimote to save your game data AND you Mii so all you can just take you Wiimote to your friends house... And about that DDR on the Wii, that sounds insane. Though I could see some sort of drum game for the Wii or even a guitar game (Last edited by Jedi Master Desroth on 12-19-06 01:22 AM) |

Yeah, you can take your Mii's and place them into your Wiimote, but so far I think that is all you can save to the Wiimote.
Next question, how do you play GC games on it? I know all you have to do is put the game in, but do you need a special controler for it or does your Wiimote do it all for you? I really dont feel like breaking back into my box, since I was thinking of Ebaying the box for display or whatnot. |

Thats all I was saying... Anyway, back to the wiimote, they definetly should release Wiimote 2.0 that has 1 gig memory built in to save your game data and Mii's to it. And am I correct in assuming that there are no games on the DS that communicate to the Wii just yet? |

There is always ebay, thats for sure. Though you could look up Wii shipment trackers, and find your state and county. It will display all the stores getting them, how many, and when they will get them. Your best bet would be to go to a Best Buy like I did, they go with the first people in line and hand out tickets so that no one can cut in a mad dash to the door...
Though if money is no object, then just go on ebay and buy one. Either way, you wont be sorry for buying one XD. It may not be that graphically awsome, but it is infinetly fun and much more enjoyable then the PS3 (which was labled by the Times as one of the biggest losers of 2006 XD). Currently, I own: Red Steel Wii Sports Rented: DBZ BT 2 Want To Own: Zelda Mario FE SSB COD 3 And besides, as of this Friday (I do believe) Opera for the Wii launches, alongside the Weather Channel. I can see old people buying it just to watch the weather channel all day long for free... Nintendo has hit the jackpot with this, now if they expanded their wifi stations across the world and made a free wifi coverage to play online for free, that would be sweet as well. As far as the SD card idea, that goes along the lines of what I was saying, but the wiimote itself should have a larger storage on it in case you are to cheap to buy a SD card in the first place XD |

Try playing that Micheal Jackson Moonwalker game. That failed horribly at product/star placement...
Though the midi MJ songs werent that horrible XD... And where did you get rail shooter from in Red Fraction 2? The only time it was rail was in the flying battles, then you couldnt control where you were going, but besides that, it seemed pretty controlable. |

Yeah, the manga gets better after the time leap imo, since we get to see more of the 9 tail fox and its history with the Uchiha clan
Spoiler:
Sasuke shares the same blood as a famous ninja who even the 9 tail fox was afraid of in a fair fight, and is even stopped with one hand by Sasuke in Naruto's mind. And its only a matter of time before Akatsuki takes Orochimaru's demon. I think he has one of the demons in him, and that is what makes him look like a snake. |

I actually wonder why they always make the little girls have the most provacative transformation scenes ever created on Earth... Though I have to admit, for a spin off of a non anime show, they did a good job with it...

No, what would be dumb is if the cast X-Play's drunken Link for Link in the new Zelda game. He would spend 75% of the time sobbing over Zelda, and the other time getting drunk on cheap scotch and drinking his own urine (Ahh the joys of the new retarded X-Play).
Anyway, Twilight Princess is a full port of the GC version. They just gave the sword swinging action to the Wiimote and were done with it... Same as RE 4 on GC and PS2, same game, slightly different control schemes. As for Zelda being original, the gameplay concept it introduced of real time fighting in a rpg was astounding, but that whole "save the world" thing or "save the princess who by the way can transform into a kung fu master and escape BY HER SELF" has been done time and time again... And I beg to differ on voice acting again... We dont want the horrible zelda game with the cutscenes that were horribly drawn and colored just because Nintendo thought it would sell if it had Zelda on the box. That voice acting was HORRIBLE, and frankly they would be better off without it. Though if they pulled a Jack and Daxter, where they got a sweet voice for Link... And back to my list, I said WANT to own, which means I know it isnt out, but I already want it or rent it... Anyway, this thread is getting stupid since you are all arguing like ninnys over rescuing a princess, who will never lay you in your wildest dreams (refering to Link and Zelda). |

He had been traveling for many days through the country side, his carriage and driver moving with precise accuracy. The windows to the carriage were all shut, and the curtains were drawn tight.
The light from the mid day sun cascaded down through the curtains, giving the inside of the carriage a rich purple glow, protecting Vyer from the sunlight. He fixed his velvet peti coat and checked his ruffles. He sighed, pulling out a small vanity mirror and checking his hair in it. The smal carriage came to a stop just outside the city gates, as the driver was granted passage through the gate. They pulled up infront of the local inn, as the driver stepped down the ladder and opened the door to the carriage. A small set of steps dropped down automatically, as Vyer brought one fought out the door and onto the step In the time it took them to arive at the inn, Vyer had put on his tightly woven silk and wool combo full body garb. It matched the color of the clothes underneath, red and black, and it seemed to cover down around his hands and covered his head in a large hood. As he got out of the carriage, he brought out a cane, the hand was shapped like a skeleton, and looked to be made of silver or pewter, and the shaft was black. "Devon, bring my bags in. We shall stay the night here in this rat hole..." Vyers driver nodded and brought the bags out as Vyer opened the door to the inn. He scoffed at the common drunkards wasting their life away with the fine spirits the inn offered. Vyer approached the Inn keeper, and wrapped his cane on the counter. "I would need your finest room sir. My friend here will take care of the cost for me." The inn keeper had almost no time to hand Vyer the key before he swipped it from his hand. He strode calmly through the tables, sneering at the filthy common folk who frequented the inn. The room left something to be desired, but it would service his needs for the moment. He drew the curtains tight and placed his full garb over the window as well. And with that, he sat back on the bed and relaxed. His mind wandering freely again as he crossed his arms on his chest and fell asleep on the soft down bed. Even in death he knew how to enjoy the finer points of life... |

Who is TP Man? Im lost... Anyway, Call of Duty 3 is pretty good on the Wii, but it takes some getting use to. The main thing is the fact you do not have a normal health bar. Instead, the more damage in a row you take, the more your screen gets red on the outside edges. If you lay down or get out of the direct fire and damage, the red disappears and your healed.
Kinda interesting imo. |

Toxin was growing tired of being swapped around so many times from place to place. He had no clue who he was facing next.
He looked around, and noticed he wasnt facing 1 enemey.... But 2.... "Ah great, just what I needed, two people ready to fight me at one time." Toxin got ready, forming his right arm into a spear, and the other arm into a type of small shield like thing. |

Desroth barely saw the beam coming, but was alerted by the sudden increase in temperature. He dodged to the right, falling away from the beam as he caught himself back into flight from a falling spin.
He propelled hismelf at Oebuss, both swords at his side. He would have to use a little offense with his defense to win this battle... He closed the distance, keeping about a 3 feet apart. He sliced forward with Arzul, aiming at Oebuss's held out hand. If he hit, that would probably leave a nasty cut behind, or even cut it straight off. As he did that, he brought Elw forward slightly, keeping it within parrying range incase Oebuss countered with another weapon. |

His sleep was broken by the sounds of a commotion downstairs. It sounded as if someone was fighting down in the tavern, and by the sounds of it, really well.
Being no stranger to the fact that people would hunt him down from town to town once they found out what he was, his mind began to race. He had no one with him if he was under attack, and his driver had gone further up the road with the wagon. He couldnt afford to sit in this room for much longer without knowing what was happening, so he rolled out of bed onto the floor. He hit the ground, but yet made no noise. It was a strange thing he never quite figured out, though he always assumed nearly silent landing was useful for stalking humans to drink their blood. He ran across the room, swipping his full body robe out of the window he had hung it over. He tugged it over himself, making sure it was fully covering him before he drew the hood over his head. He opened the door slowly, looking out down the hallway. The sound of the commotion stopped as soon as he opened the door. He investigated further, coming to the top of the stairs. He stepped down so he could see the tavern, and to his amazement, a girl was walking away from a few obviously drunken men who were on the floor groaning in pain. He noted that she looked right at a man who was drinking at a table by himself before she had left the inn. Intruiged, Vyer thought that it would be a wise choice to follow this girl and find out more about her. For all he knew, she could be one of his invisible enemies in this town that would one day kill him. As he walked to the door, he bumped his elbow into Enn. Although he had done it on purpose to find out more, he passed it off as a accident "I am sorry sir... I didnt see you there. May I buy you another drink?" |

Toxin was umoved by the show of such power from his opponent, he was more concerned about the silent 3rd opponent. He seemed to be shrouded in a sort of darkness, almost as if he was a ghostly being standing there.
Toxin shifted his attention back on Blonsky, who had by this time gotten into a fighting stance, signaling he was ready to do it. "Ready so soon? Ill take you down like I did that punk on 42nd street a while back." His shield arm turned back into his hand, as he held it out in the old spiderman fashion. From his wrist shot out a steel like chain aimed at Blonsky, attempting to stick to him and pull him in close to stab him through with his spear arm. |
