| Hmmmmm.... seeing how the topic is going, this does belong here for the most part. It's like how if you post a quiz about anime or tech, it'd still belong here if anywhere.
As for myself, I don't really know who I'd consider dating seeing as it's rare for anime men to be built, have facial hair, and not be more cute than hansome. I had this discussion with GuardianOni one day about it and he made a lot of good points of how there are rarely any anime series that doesn't have some sort of bishounen. Anyway, back at the ranch, I'd probably date Gambit of the original X-Men series and even X-Men Evolution. But he's not an anime character, you say? All forms of animation, cartoons, etc are anime. They don't have to be from Japan or Korea or whatever concept you feel anime should be, so that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. |

| HAHAHAHA! I saw this this last weekend after a bunch of my friends who play Worlds of Warcraft were discussing it and telling me how I had to see it.
My friend, Andrew, ran into the movie theater while Rocky was still playing and screamed, "LEROY JENKINS!!" at the top of his lungs while the movie was still playing and no one was saying anything and got a few people to laugh. Not sure if they got it or not. |

| I've been a big fan of the operetta since I was in 7th grade. I've memorized all of the songs (though over the years forgotten much of it).
I wasn't ecstatic to hear a movie would be made, especially since the concept of it is completely awash on most people. Matter of fact, I'm sure when this comes out there'll be MANY people who'll be saying they live such a life style or hold the same ideals when they most asuredly don't. Anyway, for the most part they're using all of the original people from the first run, though they did change out the original Mimi for Rosario Dawson and changed out the gal who's playing Joanne. | Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite book. I mean, I understand there are some liberties moviemakers should take just to differentiate from the original (otherwise, what's the point of watching the movie if it's just the book repeated?), but that one was massacred in more ways than I would have appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||

| Yeah, it's entirely achievable film to make. Based on the trailer I've seen looks like they got it all right.
I'm happy to see it done, but at the same time a bit annoyed with how it might be accepted. I dunno, I guess I'm just jaded from so many of the things I'm a fan of being picked up by Hot Topic and destroyed and mutilated. *shrugs* I have no doubt it'll be good. I'm like you, Shuyin. I actually only saw the stage performance last year, but I'd been listening to the whole soundtrack forever. It's like being a big fan of a band and then seeing them perform for the first time. |

| Oh they do have Naruto.. on pink and purple t-shirt with designs that look like Chinese bootlegs. They're also hocking the forehead protectors and such and well as keychains and figures. At least that's what I've seen at the mall Hot Topic this last month.
Don't even get me started about Wicked. I wouldn't be surprised if there are teenieboppers out there who'd want to be dyed green. But for me it's more this Hot Topic generation. Nothing's sacred any more. I can see these people going out and saying they are bi, gay, have AIDS, whatever because suddenly it's cool.  People are stupid enough to do it.
I am looking forward to the movie, but not the crowd of sudden fans. It killed Chicago for me and I was a huge fan of that musical before it became a movie. Now "Mama's Good to You" is among the most requested at karaoke bars visited by high school and college students. |
