| *hug* From your point of view it does indeed sounds like you are being used. But perhaps the reason that they do not listen to your advice is because they're too stuck in their ways to change. Everybody hates change.
This is not the best way to be good to your good friends. Yes, it's great that you listen to them and such, but there *is* a point in time when you must tell them to back off, with a reason why, which is obviously what you just did. Perhaps not waiting for the stress level to peak would have been better. And no, people probably don't go to you because you're the gay man, but more because they know you'll listen. |

I know all about stage fright... there are two ways people go about it when performing: and that is to either forget about what they're going to do and goof off a little bit... or focus completely on the task ahead, and take deep breaths. But you don't really need to be frightened... the people are there to see you do well, and are supporting you. ^-^ |

I know what it's like to want to fit in. I moved to another state and knew no one, whatsoever. But what I found, is that I didn't fit in, no matter what. So I accepted it. There is a certain crowd who doesn't care about muscles and good looks. They care about interests. I found a group of anime-loving goths at my school. That was the group I fit into. There was also the laid back, casual groups. Just stop going after the 'perfect image' groups. Honestly, the only reason people stopping mocking me, and throwing things at me is because I started dressing in black.. and found that scaring those preps can be quite fun. There are people out there who would be willing to have you as a friend, I'm just assuming that you're looking in all the wrong places.  |

| There's this guy at my school who follows me.. I ignore him when he calls out my name, because I know that if I reply to him, he'll just try to follow me around more. I don't even know this kid, other than his name, becaue he used to stalk my friend Robbie as well.. And it's not that he's a bad kid... he's just the epitomy of annoying people.. x.x | |||

| I agree with Deesse... There's a guy at my school who dresses up like a girl, where's fake boobs, and got angry when the choir teacher wouldn't let her wear a dress during a performance. All I have to say about this one is that she's very rude and such a conceited person.. argh. If I dislike her, it's not because she's not really a guy.
Usually I call them by the gender they're dressed up as... it makes things easier. Some people call the person at my school "it" and such because they don't know whether to call her a she or a he.. (Last edited by Belial on 05-15-05 12:50 PM) |

| I rarely find that I act "my age" unless I'm at some sort of gathering, like a concert or something. It drives me insane when people act immaturely; I tend to find them overly annoying. I get along with my friends' parents more than my friends sometimes, however awkward it is... so.. meh. | |||

| Try and find a job at Starbucks. I start there on Thursday, and let me tell you, they are the most kind employees I've ever met. ^-^ During training, a manager trains you. You get paid $7.25 to start with (at least here in Cali), and the people are just awesome.
And this is coming from a person who hates most people. |
