I wasnt convincing him one way or another, I was just trying to reason it out a little bit. I just wanted him to understand that there were 2 sides, and to make it so that he could make his points more valid. I agreed more with him then disagreed with what he was saying.

As for the limits, it could have been a little longer then 2 weeks. I mean, if everyone has 3 days to post, and they dont post until that limit, then there goes a week in one exchange. I know it sounds weak to say this, but maybe a 3 week or a month limit would have been more befitting for the "Ancients Tournament". There were alot of great pairings in the fights that were close to actually determing a true winner (me and Beowulf, for example). But what is done is done... No use trying to change things now..

And to prove you can take a character and change him to whatever you want with a simple program like paint (and make it look pretty good.) Here is a example!!

Im changing him to look different more then that, and I will post more on what you can do to make your own chara. so that Beowulf is not bogged down with everyones request for this RP.

I have to say Marth is my favorite. I mean, Roy is better then Marth in alot of ways, but Roy also is bad in alot of ways. Roy's charge attack at full damages him 10%, but it does a good amount of damage to the opponenet. Marth's charge attack does no damage to himself, and does a good amount of dmg to the opponent. Roy is slower, while Marth is faster. This is good for facing Pikachu players (cause they are so damn fast), while it is good to face players with slower characters becuase you can get out of their way often. Marth has more range then Roy, but only a little.

In all, Marth is the all around better character. Now for challenges, Roy is the best, but just fighting has Marth slightly in the lead.

My other favorites: Pikachu, Mewtwo, Roy, Kirby, and the mysterious Tofu (XD)

Sorry, it isnt the version my Spanish teacher got in her mail. This one is shortened down, but in the other, the dude's head is seriously gone.

Even in this one you can tell, the aligator got him and his head basically poped off. The conclusion I can to why blood wasnt spilling everywhere was that he was shooting back up fast, makeing the blood hold back. Besides, the aligator is totally chomping on the guys head...

Though if it is a fake, it was mighty well done...

In Melee, I also like Donkey Kong. Me and Shanan were playing 2 on 2 against Bowser and Luigi level 9, and my full powered punch attack knocked Bowser of the stage in one hit (Bowser had 10% damage). This was the Hyrule Castle stage, and from about the center of the stage.

Oh, Marth and Roy are the best 2 characters of the game. They can attack crouched, standing, jumping, slicing, and jabbing (forward or upward). If you face 2 people who play as Marth and Roy (and they played with them a few times before), you will be hard pressed to beat that combo. Unless your Mr. Game And Watch... He is just a cheap bastard

I know that it is done and over with, and that Beowulf dropped out, but Beowulf wishes to inform you all that Shuyin was in the wrong. Please note that he does not wish to gain the victory from Shuyin, but only to inform Shuyin and Kaijin to what was wrong.

This is what Beowulf wants to say to you all (but knows none of you will listen to him and call him a maniac and dismiss his claims...). :

Style: n - 2c. A particular manner or technique by which something is done, created, or preformed.

Stance: n - 2. A way of standing or being placed. 3.) The position of the feet of a golfer or batter preparatory to making a swing

tech-nique: n - 1. The manner in which technical details are treated or basic physical movements are used.

Look closely as you find out why stance doesn't work as you can move around. If you want to remain in the stance and attack, then you pretty much have to stand your position (hold your ground, or stand where you are) in order to remain in the stance. If you move, you move from your stance position and you will not get the stance bonus anymore.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is what he wishes to say. No what, may you ask, does he mean? We know Shuyin's technique was correct. There was nothing wrong with what he did, but he did forget something.
Shuyin did describe his gauntlets well, but he made a flaw in them. One that could be exploited and argued. Shuyin's description is as follows:
Hakke Gauntlets- A helpful technique that uses raw energy to cover his limbs. The energy is created from the Hakke Stance and can only be used while in the stance. This energy allows his limbs to repel weapons as if they were weapons themselves. From the sharpest sword to the bluntest bo staff, his limbs can block them all. The energy doesn't add any more power to Shuyin's normal attacks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now then, let me enlighten you to this little flaw that makes a major problem. Shuyin said the Gauntlets' aura is only useable when he is in that stance (Hakke Stance). He activated them, which is good and well. He began to move, which breaks the stance.

Before you go off and cut this down, keep in mind a stance is a way of standing or being positioned. While it is true you can fight in a certain stance, in this case Shuyin has to ALWAYS return to that stance to regain the gauntlets. Read on, and I will tell you why.

Shuyin, in this instance, said that he must be in the stance to keep his gauntlets. Me and Beowulf have both agreed that while he can move and break the stance, he will loose the aura (which will dispate). Therefore, he would have to enter the stance right infront of Beowulf to make the gauntlets re-appear so he can hit Beowulf, as well as deflect Beowulfs sword.

While Shuyin's description was legal, the execution was not. Shuyin described the attack perfectly, but at the same time, worded himself into a hole.

Shuyin has to re-enter the stance in order for him to regain the Gauntlets whenever he needs them after he first activated the technique.

I share this opinion with Beowulf, but we both figured that you would pass him off as a idiot and a maniac who cant get over what happened. All Beowulf wants is for people to know the truth. He doesnt want the title from Shuyin (unless maybe a serious investigation is done and the fight is re-determined to be him as the winner. )

May I also add, Shuyin GM first by ignoring his own effect. He had 1 mess up with wording, so he had no more chances to screw up.

Thank you...

This is alot like people said a while ago about the Belts. I think this system will revolutionize the way sim battles are carried out. Though, I would like to say something about this.

If we have different divisions, we should have more then 1 sim battle area. I mean, there should be one for each division. This way we can easily distinguish each division level. There could also be a area for proveing yourself worthy of going to the next level/fighting the division people of other levels.

Oh, and I dont know if I misread, but I have another question. Do the battles to get to leader go like this?

Enter division
Beat the captain
beat the leader
Maybe have had to beat some people in the non-head group?

Just asking and pointing out a idea and question.

Yeah, they are a kinda cheap, but you will have to moniter the title fights to make sure the current belt holder doesnt time out just to make sure he does not lose. All in all, this is a pretty good idea, but it does put alot of work on Kaijin and others to make sure it works. Keep up the good work though

Desroth had been floating for what seemed a eternity. He was on the edge of existence, neither living nor dead. His concious floated on the winds pf limbo, he felt nothing and everything.

He saw without seeing, and knew what he knew. A pulse carried across the choatic colored landscape of limbo. It was a simple beat to those who were in the world of living, but it was as full and meldious as piece of classical music.

The notes flowed around Desroth's empty body, filling his entire being with a new focus. His eyes begin to flicker and twitch, yet they remained closed. His body remained still, yet something had begun to happen.

The colors began to merge and blur, the world becoming black. He fell into the nothingness, forever downward, yet in all directions.

As if a cloth that had kept him blind was suddenly removed, the Earth suddenly came into view. He hurtled downward, crossing the atmosphere. His body did not heat, nor did he stir as he fell. His body seemed to glow as he fell, a faint blue glow.

The streak hit the ground, yet passed through it. The darkness of the Earth pressed all around him, and suddenly, a light flashed straight up to him. Desroth hit the light, and the battlefield was revealed. It was a cavern. A large open room with multiple tiers.

The cavern was lit by glowly flowers from the Farplane, which carpeted the ground. Large flower like structures were suspended from the ceiling, providing a unique addition to the cavern.

Desroth's body floated feet first down to the cavern floor. As his feet touched the ground, the glow evaporated off of him. His armor was a modified X-Law uniform to provide him with the most dexterity possible. It was imbued with power to make its defensive capabilities like a Mithril full body armor without the weight.

His hair was platnium silver, as were his eyes. His eyes were like a Byukagan, mysterious yet almost all seeing. Desroth pushed his shoulder length hair back over his ear, revealing a silvery ring on his right hand. It had a dark purple crystal with a hint of firey power in the middle.

On his back, 2 scabbards could be seen. The hilts of 2 swords crossed behind his head. The swords both eminated a light aura, neither evil or good. It was a aura that was both, yet wasnt. He crossed his arms, his eyes closeing. He felt the pulse carrying from his body, and to a puddle of watery essence.

The pulse began to get stronger as time went by. He knew that Drizzt was going to arrive shortly.

"Ah, Drizzt, how nice of you to meet me here on such short notice. I trust the journey here was... Comfortable?"

Desroth shifted his weight to his right leg, feeling the pressure building in his leg.

"Sorry if this is a bit forward, but...."

Desroth shot his right hand up to one of the sword hilts. He pushed forward with the built up tension in his leg, launching at Drizzt.

Desroth's hair lightly blew in the air of the cavern, as the flowers on the ground released a glowing mist. Suddenly, the back of his uniform warped. It was if it was suddenly all made of feathers. Two wings spread open on his back, the white of the feathers began to taint, turning grey and dull as if he was a fallen angel.

His feet left the ground, and he was propelled by a unknown power at Drizzt. Desroth pulled the sword out a little from its scabbard, and was flying straight at Drizzt.

Desroth grinned, his eyes narrowing in on his target. He pictured exactly where Drizzt was, and acted.

Desroth's wings wrapped around himself. His wings glowed lightly, before he spun around. His wings opened, releasing feathers across the cavern. The feathers all began to glow in different colors.

Desroth began to fade from sight. His speed was increasing, makeing him invisible to the normal eye. The different color feathers also added in masking his outline from basic eye enhancement spells.

Suddenly, a loud, long scrapeing sound was heard on the wall next to Drizzt. Then another across the ground behind him. In his speed, he slowed down enough to get a semi clear view of Drizzt, and moved to attack him.

The ground around Drizzt got slashed, then he aimed at Drizzt. Slices from almost every angle came at Drizzt

Ancient Illusion; Cloud of Phantasm: A illusion technique that breaks up the users outline and appearence. The feathers used glow in different colors, also breaking up the outline even more. This alone is not enough to make him invisible, but makes him hard to see.

Sword Technique; Sword Dance of Speed: The user speeds up to a speed that makes him almost impposible to speed. The users looks like a blur to the common eye, which makes him even harder to hit. The user moves at a speed that he can not see the world any more. In this state, he attacks wildly, hopeing to hit his target. When he does narrow into his oppoent, he attacks from all angles, meaning the victim must be wary of extra danger.

*Desroth wips the blade of his sword off, makeing sure the blood was removed. He did not want it to rust and become ugly.

Desroth looked around, and found Wigalf hideing in some trees. He was surely outnumbered, and would possibly be seriously wounded if Desroth did not step in to help him out.

Desroth slid his sword back into the sheath, and ran towards Wigalf. He saw a archer standing in the open, aiming at Wigalf. As he made it closer, he saw a few more Brigands infront of Wigalf.

Makeing a quick judgement call, he moved to B7, and attacked the Brigand at B8.

Desroth's movement was fluid and quite beautiful. He drew the sword, dashing at the Brigand, who brandished his axe. Desroth spun in front of him, bringing his sword around to slice at his stomach.

Desroth felt his own attacks hitting a form of resistance, and he had a bad feeling about it.

Desroth broke off the attack, and slid across the ground, his speed dropping to zero. His outline was slightly visible, and a sheen could be seen around his body. The feathers still hung in the air, radiating their colors.

He had to come up with something, for the illusion alone would not protect him from a counter attack from Drizzt.

Then the idea popped into his head.

"You want to use a defense like that? Well I can do that TOO!"

The illusion flickered out, as Desroth began to glow with a dark power. It was the power of the void that was seeping from his body. Desroth's wings wrapped around himself, as the energy grew more intense.

Darkness was eminating from all around him, as his wings began to turn a dark purpley black. His wings expanded outward, growing to compensate the new form. His wings opened, as Desroth stood up. He stood about 8.5 to 9 ft in total, and his body was a dark black color with a hint of purple. His whole body was consumed with the Void, and he had gained a extrodinary amount of power. He waited for Drizzt to make his move...

Void Form;Conflicted Spirit: Desroth's void forn. He is no longer a a fallen angel or a demon, but the void itself. His body is cosumed by the void, makeing him completley black with a purple hint (think Wudai Warrior if you know what one is XD). With this new form, Desroth gains a extrodinary amount of power, and a almost direct connection with all the voids power. He gains new incredibly powerful attacks and techniques, but the downside is that they suck up alot of power if used many times.

Thats cause Link sucks without his masks, orcirana, and his 10,000 Master Swords XD. Anyway, this game flat out rocks SC2's multi-platform ass. Here are some reasons WHY exactly it is good...

1. The Character Creation: This is one of the most indepth character creations I have seen for a fighter. Everything is customizable (just about), straight down to the color of your characters underwear (especilly for your hot sexy female character XD). There are several main classes, and as you play, each one can gain disciplines which allow for different weapon usage.

2. The AI is beefed up. It acts and feels like you are playing a real person. No longer will they stand there and take everything you through at them, but will geniuenly kick your ass to Timbuktu. They will ring you out, attack you inbetween counters, etc. Some call it cheap, but I think it is great.

3. CoTS... Fire Emblem with Real Time fighting goodness...Need I say more?

4. NIGHTMARE vs ABYSS ZOMG! (Wishes they have Nightmares transformed state)

5. The endings are funny, and have multiple (about 3) branches.

6. You get Soul Edge weapons for all chara, and the very weird Souvineour weapons

So yeah... GO BUY IT!!! GO NOW! FLY TO TEH STORE!!!

Hey now, you would be surprised what hard core players can really do. Aside from what you all say about the AI being cheap, you have to remeber that it is the AI. It doesnt have a controller, and has all the move memorized that they can use. The higher you go, the faster the ai reads your button presses and responds.

Now about the slower characters. Nightmare is slow, but his slash can still knock you flying. And if they made the faster characters stronger, why is Talim the only fast character who posses a problem? Thinking about this, I guess the players skill and competency would come into play with how hard they find the AI.

OLCADIAN (I know he looks like that O RLY owl, but that isnt funny in my book) is a sweet character. Once you get his Soul Edge/Caliber weapon, he gains acces to the soul edge and caliber weapons of the others.

Oh, and I find it funny... Siegfried and Nightmare's swords are Soul Caliber and Soul Edge. Zasalamel absorbs both swords, and launches out Soul Edge or Soul Caliber. The problem is that Soul Edge comes out as Soul Edge, but Soul Caliber comes out as a small dual blade sword.... Problem with that, lol. Cant believe they didnt see that one when Zas launches one out of himself.

And something a friend pointed out... The Soul Caliber games are in the same universe as another Soul game. I cant remeber what it was called, but the storys and history are the same.
