Xeo.... stop moping! jeez. We're supposed to be here to have fun. Sure, I don't post a lot, but I do like everyone here! It would be sad if this just ended and I never heard from anyone (seeing as how I'm never on any messengers...). It's really hard to find an online community like this one. If it closed, I don't know WHAT I would do. So please, remain sane, and cheer up. <3

So, I gather that just about everyone is either graduating from high school, finishing up finals, transferring from a community college to university, etc. But what are you guys planning on majoring in? What are you prospects for the future?
I've written out a game plan for the next 3-4 years. I'm beginning to take all the prerequisites for the nursing program (which is the only thing the school has going for it), at the local community college here. |

It feels like it's already summer here... 110+ degrees (F), no old people (tourists, aka Snowbirds).... and no horrible traffic. ^-^
I'll be working my ass off, hopefully going through a 6 week chemistry class... the class was full before it was my turn to register, so hopefully someone doesn't show up for the class and I can take their spot... ^-^;; Other than work and school, I'll be going to Las Vegas in July because I'll finally be 21!!! w00t!!! Then in August I'll be going to St. Louis, Missouri for my little brothers boot camp graduation! It's gonna be a busy summer.... and also, naturally, I'll be going to Disneyland! <3 |

So, I don't know who here knows who Stefanie Meyer is (she wrote the teen books Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse). She wrote an adult novel titled The Host.
Now, I can't say that I actually liked her books, but more, I love the way she writes. It flows so smoothly. I'm just finishing up The Host right now, I read about 350 pages of it yesterday afternoon. It's an interesting concept: Aliens take over our Earth, and use the human bodies as hosts. The main characters are a human host, and the alien who took over her body. The only thing is, the human mind never left, so there are two minds trapped in one body. The alien falls in love with the human's memories of Jared, and the human's brother, Jamie. It all gets pretty weird, and it's all hard to understand (one of the reasons I don't like it), because you're just thrown into the melee without explanation, so I'm going to have to read this book again in order to understand it, blah. |

What you drank.... is grosser than what I drank the weekend of my wedding (which I will never drink again). But I still drank more than you did and didn't throw up!! I had 7 shots of Bulleit Bourbon, which is 90 proof... didn't throw up, didn't wake up with a headache. don't get me started on the last Cinco de Mayo, either... 3 margaritas that we made with double the tequila... another 5 1/2 shots of tequila and a beer. Again, no hangover. To tell the truth, I've never had a hangover, no matter how much I've had....though, the bourbon incident I felt like dying halfway through with the drunkeness...
Hope you feel okay today, though. ^-^ |

Fuck you, prices of college textbooks!!!! seriously, $133 for a USED textbook from the college bookstore? Fuck That! I'll go to Amazon!
Fuck chemistry, while I'm at it, even though I haven't even started the class (it has been expensive. $93 for the class, $98 for the lecture text book, and $70 for the lab manual. I can't wait to see how expensive the anatomy textbook is going to cost! I would say "fuck being a nurse," but I really want to be one.... and brand new graduate nurses start at $28/hour at one of the local hospitals. ^-^ |

Gods, Rogue! I could never live in a place like that! But I still have to say fuck you to my neighbors, too. The old man down the street tried to get the city people to fine us because of our older cars (At the time there was an 80s 5.0 Mustang, our friends 1965 El Camino and a 70s Camaro). Saying that our property depreciates the value of his. ...... Another neighbor tried to get us fined saying we have an auto business somehow running from our house... when really my husband was just changing the oil on his grandmother's Cadillac. The neighbors also try to bitch to the city that we work outside on our cars until 10:00pm, which is when you're supposed to be quiet. *sigh*
BUT.... there's this older Hispanic lady that lives down the street... her sister came to visit from Mexico and her truck was broken.. so my husband fixed it and they gave us some expensive tequila and a bucket of margarita mix. How awesome is that? =D Also, a big FUCK YOU to the price of textbooks, which cost more than the class!!!!! |

No new sunburns for me.... although it is over 100 degrees constantly. We hit 112 over the weekend... but I was in the mountains where it was only 90-ish... It'll probably get really humid with the the 105+ temperatures like it did last year, too. =(

I know there is a thread on this topic, but it's way old...
Spore is once again scheduled to be out: September 7th 2008. I've seen some clips for this game... and although I'm not much of a PC game-type person... this game looks bad ass! For those who don't know what it is:
http://www.spore-monsters.com/ Any thoughts? |

I'm listening to an album called "Plastic Phantastic," made by a friend. It's all electronica/techo like music. He did all of the crazy effects and guitar, drums and trumpet and what all other instruments in the album. He has his own recording studio in his house. ^-^ it's way bitchin. |
