I think it's fine in moderation, but I've never done any drugs at all. So what if it shortens your lifespan? It's not YOUR life getting shortened by the drugs of others. I know that probably doesn't sound very nice, but it is their decision, and it barely affects you personally.

What's this talk of removing characters? Think about it. They didn't remove a single character going from SSB to SSBM, they just added a lot. Who's to say they couldn't repeat that?

As for my opinions...

I don't think any more Mario characters need to be put in, except maybe Wario. If another Pokemon is added, I hope it's not one of the wimpy unevolved ones. We need a Pokemon with some weight, dammit! Maybe add Jeff or Paula (I think Poo is the most ridiculous name for a character, EVER) from Earthbound. Honestly, I can't think of many characters that should be added.

For magic, armor, and weapons, perhaps an element system? You could go with a basic 4 or 8 (the latter of which is more commonly seen in RPGs, I've noticed), the weakness/resistances list I could come up with easily. Make the best weapons elemental, too, so there's ways to live through them.

I'll give you the lists of weaknesses/resistances after you tell me how hard that would be to implement. No use putting any further thought into it if it's gonna be too hard to add.

1v1. I know it seems stupid, since Teams would still allow 1v1, but there's a few problems I can forsee with team battles. One of them being someone getting challenged to a battle and never being given the chance to decline - some people seem to not take challenges to PMs first, as I learned before.

Come up with a good workaround, and my vote is for teams. Until then, I'm throwing in my opinion and not voting.

... and yes, that means I normally try, however unsuccessfully, to be nice. I try to keep an open mind, but I am stubborn and generally unwilling to change my opinions. Of course, since my opinions in many debates involve leaving the choices open to the individual (religion, abortion, sexuality), I guess that's not so bad, is it? Well, I obviously don't think so.

Well, I changed my pattern a bit. I stuck a "Noob Season" pic in one of my welcoming posts. Thanks to Cymoro for that image, btw.

Although, I don't think it has anything to do with this thread.. I was flipping through Cy's listing of images (including a Who Fuckin' Cares and a Pac-Man style Owned picture). I wanted to use one, so I did.

The closest I'd ever get to that would be getting one of those pet tags that has a microchip in it. Putting a chip like that into a pet would be optional surgery, and the pet wouldn't have any choice in the matter. I'm not particularly fond of that, in case you couldn't tell. Now, a collar or tag with a chip in it would be fine - but of course, then you've got problems with animals that can get their collars off. Our cat has done that before.
