There was a store in the mall around here that sold a lot of bootleg claiming it was real. All of the DVDs' boxes were discolored, they had mostly Chinese writing on them, and they were all "the complete" series sets, on 3 or 4 discs. Uh-huh. |

| I'm pretty sure that comes out of the episode where Simon and River visit this village where River is called a witch when she inadvertently reveals she's psychic, and just as she's about to be burned, Mal and Zoe pop up to reclaim them (Jayne, of course, up above with a big gun at hand). I think that was the episode that was called Safe.

| I was amused when Peter told Nikki was it okay to step back and then he turns around and starts beating on Sylar because he just absorbed Jessica's Hulk-like strength.
A few people in the Heroes online communities have been taking up a fight against the writers for not just having Peter fly off into space himself, not sacrificing Nathan at all or to just have Claire shoot him. Many have actually come to the writers' defense by providing many rational conclusions on this. 1) Shooting Peter at that state would be like shooting a jar that's under pressure. The contents would fly out anyway. So by taking him out somewhere else to explode as opposed to simply shooting him, it guarantees that he wouldn't harm anyone at all. 2) Nathan had to redeem himself and not allow Peter to kill millions of people. What's more, in Peter's premonitions Nathan is standing with him, saying he won't leave him. 3) Peter seems to only be able to access one power at a time. Since the radioactive power was obviously in play, it was Nathan who could get him away quickly (or Hiro, but he was bamf'd to Feudal Japan, so tough luck there... *cheers that her hero wasn't killed off*) Now with all that out of the way, a couple comments from me: - Hahahahahahaha, Noah! Cheers! - Ando lives! - Seriously, what was up with all of the commercials? It seemed like every 5 minutes there were commercials again (at least 4 minutes long). |

| For those familiar with Neil Gaiman's work (Sandman, American Gods, Mirror Mask, etc), I'm sure you've already long heard about the upcoming film based on his book, Stardust.
I had heard about this some time ago and was excited to see it come to life. Neil's been posting the occasional update about it as well as the link to these photos. | It really is called The Aristocrats. Saw it when it first came out.
Pretty much it's a huge inside joke told between comedians. Pretty much the beginning and end are the same, but the middle of the joke is left to interpretation. The whole joke is how much you could improv the middle and how dirty and vulgar you could get it. Example: No one knows exactly where it started, but word has it that comedians from the vaudeville era were telling it to each other. So that's it. It's just a dirty joke told between colleagues when they aren't on stage. |

| Well, no one said there aren't variations (Sarah Silverman's version is her telling of the joke as though she were the daughter in the family, ending with the punchline, "Joe Franklin raped me"). That clip was also from the documentary.
Traditionally, though, the joke begins with a man/family/agent going into a talent agency to pitch a family act and it ends with the scout/agent/manager asking what the act is called to which he is answered with: "The Aristocrats!" But again, it's not set it stone. More guideline than anything else. |

| I don't watch this show, except when I forget to change the channel in the morning when I turn on the TV and sit at my computer. There have been times when I'll see Elisabeth go on tirades against abortion and many other liberal views, breaking into tears to evoke her point. Most of the time, Barbara Walters is the one who calms her down and makes her stop, saying that it's a professional show and they she needs to let other people express their opinions.
Anyway, I'm sure you're familiar with all of the crap the media (tabloids mostly) has been bringing up about Rosie O'Donnell. Either way, she's not going to be on the show much longer due to a contract negotiation gone bad. In the clip below, it shows Joy going over a list of things Bush has done wrong, as expressed by liberals and herself. Elisabeth begins to interrupt the list with slight stabs at the views listed. Rosie, who had supposedly promised not to attack Elisabeth because she was pregnant again, starts questioning Elisabeth. I'm not sure who the other girl is, a celebrity guest host I imagine, as Barbara isn't there to stop the fight. Heh, I went to the panel for this game at Celebration this past weekend.

They went over the exact same things that are in the videos Byte posted. Exact same wording since the guy doing the talking was there for the panel along with the two main characters Juno Eclipse and, for the moment, Vader's unnamed apprentice (he'll have a name, but for now they aren't disclosing it). The panel was saying that throughout the project their main motivation for the past 2 years working on it was to show using the Force in ways that haven't been shown before, thus whenever the directors asked of the designers/engineers what this game was about, they'd all answer in unison: "Using the Force to kick someone's ass."
