| Fuck you, african american douchebags that went into the break room at my work, rifled through my coat, took my keys, and stole my car (8pm EST 2/8/10). Fuck you for doing this to at least 5 other people before me (according to the detective). Fuck you for not dropping my car yet, like you have with all your other ones that day (also according to the detective). And if you took my car into Detroit, fuck you for taking it away from me for months, even if you dropped it last night.
According to the detective and the officer who helped me, Detroit cops will just impound cars and leave them for several months until they decide to clear out their lot and then you get a call. A co-worker had that happen to his truck. It was stolen and got into an accident not 2 hours later, but it was in Detroit, so he didn't hear about his truck being recovered until 3 1/2 months later and the lot tried to charge him $500 in fees because some ass hat at Detroit PD didn't make the call. Edit: Also, according to Geico (my insurance) I don't have comprehensive coverage, so they won't do shit. I was pretty sure I got a quote from them with comprehensive, but according to my claim adjuster, I never had it on my car...only my wife's car. | What I would do is tell your friend (Rachael's boyfriend) that she had invited Steph and that you didn't want Steph to come to avoid issues with Jeff. Tell him that if he cannot make Rachael un-invite Steph, you'll have to un-invite Steph and Rachael. Be sure to say that it would mean a lot for you to come, even if Rachael can't (or won't) come. Certainly sounds to me that this Rachael girl is not very considerate of other people. At the worst, just have a list of invited people and have a parent or someone at the door checking off names - if a person isn't on the list, they don't get in...

My wife and I bought the special edition Pokemon Black DSi (came with Pokemon Black) and a copy of Pokemon White the Tuesday after it came out and intended to share the DSi, but we keep arguing over who gets to play Pokemon, so I got my own...XD |

| Watched 2.22 last night (my brother got it last week for some reason) and it was epic. Totally new spin on the story of Eva. Only the basics of the original series are preserved, everything else is different. Rei is more human, Asuka is more kind, Kensuke sounds like a girl (to me at least), Gendo is less of a douche (he actually talks to Shinji kindly more than once!), and the angel battles are 1000 times better! Plus, there is another female pilot that is actually pretty good looking, even if she is somewhat crazy. =D

| I'm playing right now, and I'm going up against the alien queen. To be honest, I like the game. I like the fact that it uses classic FPS style and adds puzzle challenges into the mix. It reminds me of Quake 4, but with some extra puzzles.
Totally not worth $50 (what I spent), but I'd buy it for $35-$40. Haven't tried multiplayer, but single player seems legit. |

| Quite honestly, I loved the movie. I think it helps that I fully separate the books and films - they share the same base universe, but are actually 2 different stories (same basic story, but different). I thought the death of the Dark Lord was actually pretty lame... Definitely worth seeing opening night in 3D... Can't wait to see it in IMAX 3D!!!
I'm glad its done, but at the same time, I think I'll miss the series. Its been around for a very long time now, but I think its good to have it be done. The only thing I can think of that could be a good continuation could be the trio's children's adventures and dealings with another foe (or something like that). I would like to see more official (JKR written) books in the Harry Potter universe (prequels or sequels, doesn't matter) at some point, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that...=/ |

| Holy shit! This board is so freaking old! I remember when it started! I think Xeo and DS deserve some major props for keeping this site up and running for over 8 years (7 as Xeogaming, more as other names). Having this board around (even though I'm almost never on and rarely post - I lurk a lot) keeps me in touch with my inner geek and helps me remember the best years of my life.

If you have a really nice, powerful sub, it needs to be: 1) heavy enough not to be able to move itself and 2) placed (mounted or free) on a stable surface. Most really nice and powerful subwoofers are mounted to the floor. But yeah...I loled at that. Looks like subs from a car...really bad idea. XD |
