Zoso's band has been kicking around possible names that they'd change to seeing as they feel they can't be Sonic Transducer forever. Right now the name the bass player and lead singer want is "Audio Sodomy." |

It's funny the affect this thing has. I heard it a handful of times yesterday and started singing it to Zoso while we were walking home from our friend's graduation dinner. It amused our other friends while we were waiting for the bus in front of the restaurant. |

I know how that is. Everytime I've felt like there was some sort of injustice done with no retribution, I'd rage. It happened a lot during this last semester since our campus police were letting a lot of things slip through the cracks of the system and our administration out to stomp free speech and fill their wallets.

A few of the production photos hit the web recently. I personally think these are pretty lame for production photos seeing as it's nothing more than pictures of the same people and things over and over, but then again that's a teaser for you.

I had a few pictures of the dragons that were snuck to Moriarty from Warner Brothers, but they were discovered by spoiler hounds and deleted. I'm not looking forward to the series near as much as I used to. Matter of fact, this is becoming too much like how Batman went down years ago. Anyway, on with the pics for those who are interested:

This was in a news feed today: Harry Potter author JK Rowling has disappointed fans by banning any copies of the boy wizard novels from being published online in e-book form. The multi-millionairess' unpopular decision was sparked by the problems caused by pirate versions of the Potter releases, which appeared on the internet without her permission last month. Neil Blair, a lawyer with Rowling's literary agency, explains, "This has not been an area that we have sought to license. We monitor the internet and take appropriate action." But experts are convinced the magical Potter saga would be a smash hit in digital format. Nicholas Bogaty, director of the Open Ebook Forum, says, "I'm sure it would be a very big book very quickly and would probably serve as a terrific marketing vehicle to get people to buy the print book." Barbara Marcus, president of the children's books division of Rowling's US publisher, Scholastic Inc, counters, "I don't think that there is a cool enough or interesting enough hardware to get the kids engaged. One of the fantasies I had was of kids walking around, without backpacks, and somebody would say, 'You have to read Of Mice And Men and The Red Badge Of Courage. Here are the e-books.' That fantasy hasn't happened." Rowling's latest Harry Potter adventure, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, is released on July 16.

I've still got another con coming up this upcoming week in Vegas to look forward to first, so I don't know about money just yet for that. We'll have to see. anyone cosplaying...? Maybe. still planning? It's questionable enough if I'll be an exhibitor, press, or a volunteer this time around. still undecided? Very much so, but I'll be there. excited? Sure... I might be tired as fuck, but yeah, I'll survive. planned out exectly what you'll do yet? When it comes to what I'll look for, more than likely I'll hold off shopping until Comic-Con. I'll have to look at the viewing schedule, but I'll definitely be looking for all night anime rooms that are playing certain series I've been looking into, or otherwise any of the rooms premiering anything (those are always fun rooms, especially if there's almost no one there and it's something that's going to be big). Otherwise, I'll be living on caffiene all weekend.

This was probably the best of the 5 Batman movies; which restores hope in DC comic book movies all together seeing as Marvel's glory has started to rust a bit.

There were a lot of little things that made me laugh while most of everyone else in the theater didn't, though I suppose this adds to the diversity of the audience rather than just the comic book fans. With the streak of decent comic book movies (starting with Sin City on), I'm looking foreward to Fantastic 4 (though more for Human Torch if anything). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
