| It actually reminds me of the last time I went to the L.A. Zoo. The giraffe exhibit is next to this restaurant in the far end of the zoo where most families stop to eat lunch and at the time the zookeepers were trying to get the giraffes to mate.
At first the male was drinking the female's urine to test if her hormone level was right for conceiving, then the male came over to mount the female, penis ready and all. 250 kids, in unison: "EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!" About 500 parents were rushing to cover their kids' eyes. Anyway...  |

| Maybe make the announcements PMs to all the members?
The idea comes from another board I frequent. Since they have several levels of membership, the PMs go only to certain individuals. This would also include an idea I posted a long time ago about being able to put multiple names in the box where you put the user's name to which you're sending the PM. |

| While helping my boyfriend's brother go through Shadow of the Colossus, he kept remarking on how pansy the hero is. I mentioned that I completely agreed with him (Wanderer really is a pansy) as it doesn't take much to make the character fall over and when he's hit, he blacks out and won't move for a while.
While Kratos isn't very realistic, I'd LOVE to go through SotC with him. Hell, I'd absolutely cream myself if you could use him to play the early GTAs, especially with how fragile the main characters were. I adore Kratos. Though he isn't the smartest VG hero or the strongest, he has a lot of heart. A warrior might kill recklessly, but it's his love for his family and his regret that gives him personality. Hell, if they wanted to make him an all out killing machine with nothing else to him, he'd be wearing full armor and a helmet with nothing of his face showing. As I played through the first level of GoW 2 at a convention last month, I damn near teared up with how proud I was of his moves and what they had him do. While God of War probably isn't the greatest game, I'll always love it. |

| Well... I'll try to keep this short.
Relationship: Today is Zoso's and my third anniversary. We went to the Star Wars experience. My choice. I hate the flowers and dinner crap. 
My dad: Had a surgery in January and had all of the skin on his back removed (he had mostly exposed muscle, but with the use of a Woundvac, his skin's rapidly growing back). We just discovered he's severely diabetic, as well. My mom: She'll be having a surgery this Friday to remove a lump from her breast. This is third time she's had to go through this. The bank sucks. School's gotten really boring, will probably just take my math class over summer. Have all sorts of things coming up that I don't have the money for whatsoever. I also just realized today that every 4 years, I have a year that's filled with life moments that while rather difficult, are those that make me grow up somewhat. Eh, I've been hit with a slice of life. It happens. Since they both now know their limits, and are having them as corrected as much as they can, they're better off for it. Other updates on me that I forgot: I've lately become the "official" photographer/drum tech/roadie for Zoso's band. Not a paying job, but still fun to spend time with friends at metal shows. I'm supposedly starting a space larp with a few friends in a gaming club this Saturday. Even though I'm completely and utterly broke things have been good. I always pull through somehow. | We're a pack of geeks. A larp (Live Action Role Play) is where you act out a game, as opposed to just playing it with dice and pen and paper. Think of it more as fantasy improv.
A lot of the characters in our game are based on Firefly characters and such. |

| Celebrating Hitler's birthday and the anniversary of Columbine?
Gee... Since I don't smoke/do anything shady or illicit I don't think I'll be celebrating that part of the unofficial holiday. 4:20 is always just another day to me. Although this year I'll probably be spending it in the hospital since my mom is having surgery that day. |
