I'm thinking about maybe allowing logging in. That way, we could possibly look at our old PM's if we may have lost things.
That, and I'm interested to see how staff went back in the day. I've already begun work on this actually, it's possible you could see this up later tonight. |

I thought this might be an interesting topic.
What are some things that people (students) say / do in school that just really annoy you? To no offense to anyone here that may do this, but when people go ON, and ON about how they have a C in some class, and how they "turned all this stuff in, how does this work" and so on, it just gets really annoying. It's just really annoying when people get real pissed off that they didn't get an A in a class or something. Maybe I just have weird standards and think anything from A-C is completely "okay" for me, but yeah. Anyone else get this a lot? Or have any other things that people do that make you annoyed? |

Yeah, notice the "nevermind" in the title.
Turned out to be an extremely old backup of this board actually, when I still used my ZMasterSephiroth AIM name and everything. Aside from that, I can't even get the board to work, and a lot of things are missing from the database. Meh, it was worth a shot I guess. |

You could try photobucket, imageshack, or funpic or something.
|
But yeah, just to note, I got "You do not have access to this document" also.

the single UMD disk will include Gradius I, II, III, IV and Gradius Gaiden.
|
I think I'm sold. I've also seen a ton of friends with SNES emulators on their PSP, that actually run perfectly fine. Eventually I'd really like to get a PSP myself. Konami is also possibly going to port Suikoden I and II to the PSP also. Which just gets me even more excited.

Would you say V and Gaiden are better than 3?
|
Gradius III is still probably my favorite shooter out there. The original is just too damn hard, with no continues? Jeeze.

Wow Evo, I just noticed you have 600+ posts ... yeah, I think it's good to say you're truly back.

(and yes, that's a good thing ). Hmmm, as for this thread ... I'll just make a very VERY rough sketch of my history. The Birth - Discovered Challenge Games Community, like 6 years ago or something. This was a Rom Hacking group, where I learned about Rom Hacking, the Super Mario Bros 3 Challenge hack, and so forth. I got really interested, and dwelled into Rom Hacking for awhile. - In 2002, joined Challenge Games under the name of PhantomFF7 I believe (which, truthfully, was my very first AIM name also). - Only made it to 90 some posts. - Had quite possibly the worst grammar ever, and typing skills. The Death - Joined Acmlm's Board in 2003. - MasterSephiroth was born. - For some reason, had an orgasmic experience with Acmlm Board's. Loved the level system, loved posting, loved the colors, layouts, and everything about them. - I could not make a layout, knew no HTML. - I could not figure out how to change font colors, and broke quote tables. - Eventually was banned for advertising for some extremely old Halo fansite my friends and I from school made, via massively spamming through PM's. - Reregistered to "voice my opinion". Banned again. - Reregistered to "flame". Permanently banned. The Rebirth - Teamed up with Randy, Doomed Knives, and myself to make The Devils Oracle. A short lived AB, which I was an admin at. - Stalking Acmlm'sBoard as a banned user, eventually discovered Vizzed Board. - Joined Vizzed Board, which didn't work at the time. - It got fixed, and I posted nothing but probably only 1 lined posts. - Brought people to Vizzed. Promoted to Local. - Brought more people to Vizzed. Promoted again. The Second Path - Got bored with Vizzed and it's immature issues. - Discovered Anime US, which was apparently torn into two when I joined. - Went to the other board, X-Realms, created by co-Anime US'ers, and was made a Full Mod quickly. - Was the first to receive a custom weapon, and highest post count. - Got fed up with the immaturity and short posts there, and went back to Anime-US with many others. - Enjoyed Anime-US. Attempted to bring others to it, but nobody cared for it. - Eventually got promoted to Local Mod at Anime-US. Side Quests - Joined the 3000 boards of Anti-Reality that Randy made after the Devils Oracle's death. - Was about every kind of Moderator throughout a lot of the AR's. - Was never really active at AR. The Return - Got bored with Anime-US, posting slowed, and went back to Vizzed. - Met Elara, Rogue, AnimeRPJunkie, and the rest of that group. - Eventually hit 4,000+ posts with my "Post Wars" with Mrmenz, and Cheecemac. We'd basically post in every forum, and cover the index with our names. The Grand Beginning - The story of Shadows Edge begins, in late 2003. - Decided, I wanted to make my own board, they way I wanted it to be. - Exadis from Anime-US offered his assistance, and took almost a day out of his time, to talk over a microphone through AIM and explained how PMA works, FTP, and so forth. I was retarded at this time. - Jin (Mike) and I, created Shadows Edge (his name idea), he created the banner, and was for the most part, the Owner since he did pay for the server, which as you guessed it, was under Erkdog. - I was mainly the manager of the place, did promotions, made the forums, etc. - A few people from Anime-US joined up. Tried getting Rogue, Elara and them to join, but they didn't seem to find that much interest in it. However, Jin successfully brought a TON of members over from Erk's Netforce Chaos forums almost daily. - Jin ended up not having the financing to keep the server up. - I never attempted to make a backup. - Power went out when Jin attempted to make a backup, and the payment was way over for SE, so it was shutdown, and there are no remains of it other than the banner. Short Interest in NFF - Erk offered to merge the remains of SE into his board, repromote some staff, and make us some level of owners of the place. - Jin liked the idea, but I didn't. - I was on staff there for maybe a few weeks, then quit. Darkness Begins - I went back to my moderating at Anime-US. - Months later, got bored with the place, was still never welcomed back to Acmlm's, and eventually decided "I needed my own board, again". - I got together with some people from Anime-US that were having issues with the place, and got fed up with it, and wanted to leave. Sparda, Kaijin, Echelon (Vash the Stampede) and probably plenty of others. - Sparda came up with the Masters of Darkness name, and I loved it. - It was born, under myself as owner and manager this time. Jin, seemed to have lost interest in boards for the most part, but in a sense Sparda took his role as, well in terms, to be my trusted "Right hand man" in everything. - Kaijin was eventually the 2nd Admin, I believe. - This time, people from Vizzed, such as Rogue, Elara, and so forth, joined, and loved the place. I think Rogue actually didn't start posting as early as Elara and others did, but eventually she saw fun in this place. The War - My timing in making Masters of Darkness, seemed to have suggested a kind of "Revolution" agains't Anime-US. And because of the very high activity that MoD received at the time, more than Anime-US, they became enraged. - Eventually I dropped my staff position at Anime-US, and took the issue a little too personally at times. If it weren't for Sparda at that time, who knows what I would have done. - Eventually, everything calmed. Forgotten Tales (funny name) - I in all honesty can't remember how MoD was first wiped out, but I believe we were hacked, or it was a sever / host issue. - MoD died. Everyone was pissed, I was pissed, and wanted to give up. - People wanted MoD back, so I did the best I could do to bring it back. - Exadis promised to help restore things, and build a Battle Hack and Itemshop, so I gave him PMA access. He never did anything, and it took him a few months to get just a small amuont of posts data back into the database. The Death of Steven - During MoD's fall, my computer's power supply, and motherboard friend. - This was in effect for the entire summer of 2004 I believe. I was AWOL for 3+ months. Super Sayijin Steven - I get back on, in August or something, with my newly updated computer, enraged. I asked, why wasn't MoD back? And posed other questions. - I gave up with MoD, and discussed with Evo, Rogue, Sparda, and others whether or not I should try to bring the board back. The King Xeo Shines - The idea of Evogaming was brought up. - I made the new board ... "Master Board". - Sparda destroyed the retarded name, that I came up with, somehow, and site name Xeogaming was created. - Erk begins his Fifty Pounds Hosting plan, asking if I'd be interested. Never having a real host for my past sites, I knew this was an issue, and that Erk's help could really help out, so I took up that offer. - He makes the evogaming url, and Xeogaming begins. Power up Xeo to Level 2 - I needed to get a real domain for Erk, and had to get him some money. - Evo, having site experience in the past, tells me she could get me one. She then bought us Xeogaming.net - Xeogaming was hacked, crashed, or something, and had to be restarted. ... yet Again - Xeogaming is quickly remade, and everyone jumped back unto it and it flourished. - I almost left. Sparda talked me out of it. - We were in the glroy days, 300+ some posts a day. - Sparda and I drove into one of the most historical Sim Battles of the time. Thus, where we drew a Draw, and I let my second form character name "Xeogred", become my standard username. - Xeogred is truly born, later 2004. - Acmlm's Board restarts, and I joined under the Xeogred alias, only revealing my dark past to them after I had become someone else, a much better and more mature member. Dark Times, the Final Dark Times: Early 05 - Somebody hated Tamarin, hacked his account, and destroyed the board. - I could not make backups of the board for some reason, so ... for the 3rd time, Xeogaming would have had to restart. - I urged to leave, probably the entire net as a whole. Sparda simply says simple words; "Fine, but bring back Xeogaming because others care". - I brought it back, still enraged, enraged at Acmlm's, lost my cool for awhile, but eventually got over seeing that there was still, so much support and love for this place. Casual and Recent Times - I have now lost interest in about every single forum out there, besides here, and a very select few other boards. Thus, I dropped my staff positions at the handfuls of boards I was a moderator at. - I started posting reguarly here, and at Acmlm's. Eventually, and to now, I've been a Local Moderator at Acmlm's, in hope to have a bigger name for not myself, but this place. Now - As sad as it may have sounded, Xeogaming / MoD / SE has restarted more than enough times. But, it won't happen again, as I take weekly backups of the board entirely now, now that I fixed the past issues I had with PMA preventing me from making backups. - I probably would have like, maybe 8,000 posts in total now. - I would not be here if it weren't for you guys, the community, and some members in specific, Sparda, Rogue, Elara, Evo, Kaijin, and so on. Without their support through the hard times I've had, in having to rebuild a community over and over again, I probably would have not been around anymore. - But, I've stuck around, and even though, bits and peices of the community has fallen, I'm glad I've stuck around with you guys, and glad this place is what it has ultimately become now. Ugly notes - MasterSephiroth was truly a goofy name, but even to this day ... some people still call me it, as some people refuse to call this place XG, instead of MoD. Heh. - Up until we got evogaming, and xeogaming.net, I was on anything you could think of. Free servers, Lycos, anything. Horrible, horrible, horrible! Wow, that turned into an epic. ... Damn, that was a LOT. edit: Hopefully some actually read it. (Last edited by QuickMan on 11-19-05 02:42 AM) (restricted) |

Heh, yeah. I could probably spoof it up a bit, but that's not a bad idea.
|
I doupt it's 100% accurate though, but off the top of my head, that's stuff I can remember. I'll probably post some "Fun History" too. Like how a Hentai Forum was brought up a lot, by myself and others. How I had an Ayana beach layout for months. How Sparda and I made a "Sexy Layout contest". How I've probably had 500 usernames. How I actually Sim Battled back in the day, as horrible as I was. (looking back at MoD, through archive.org, I even ran Tournaments.) (Last edited by QuickMan on 11-19-05 02:56 AM)

Originally posted by Xeios 2 - I was actually paired up for the last couple of weeks with a Cheerleader for an English project, and she was unbelievably nice, and actually pretty cool. From what I've seen, I wouldn't really judge a Cheerleader, as part of the "Cheerleaders". There's others that I've seen that are uptight bitch's (to be blunt), and the other 70% who talk about getting banged every weekend and getting drunk every night. The girl I teamed up with, was not like that at all, and she was one of the leading / main cheerleaders. 4 - Way too true. 5 - Damnit I want this shit to die, be destroyed, annihilated. I could give a shit if you got drunk last night, and or got high. I hear stories, every single day at school from a few of my classes, at the tables that I sit out. This group of both girls, and guys, talk about nothing but how awesome it is to drink and that they can't wait this weekend because their parents are out of town and they're going to "Get so drunk!" Then the guys like "I've got some coke", then the girls are like "Oh sweet, can I gett some? Let's hang out". Freaking idiots. If you have a cause to do that shit, then fine, but don't go around telling the world, nobody cares. You're not winning a prize. Other than that though, my school isn't nearly as bad as what I've heard of. My school has only been upon for 3 years (including this one), when I started my Sophomore year at it. It has tons of high technical 21'st century programs and such, and quite honestly, in generalizing you could say my school is pretty much made up of "Nerds, Dorks, and Geeks". For the most part. I was picked on a lot in Junior High, because I was smaller, had a funny last name, and never stood up for myself. But, High School has been a completely different story. Besides from the retarded population of people that do nothing but drink and get high at my school, the people are extremely laid back, and don't care. Even the guys in sports, whom would usually be "tough" on you, aren't. They're good and funny people, and some of them talk about nothing but World of Warcraft. Most of the girls are extremely nice, and laid back, and open about meeting people and such, unlike what it was like in Junior High for me. As cheesy as it sounds, it's like we're a big family at my school. I've never seen a fight break out in the halls, never seen anyone be picked on, or anything. My school is just extremely laid back, and from I've seen and heard about the other High Schools in my area, I don't take it for granted.

For some great laughs:

MasterSephiroth, Acmlm'sBoard early 2003 Trust me, I have even deadlier posts out there. There worst post I have EVER made, was this thread I made asking people if there were "Hot Gamer Girls out there". Looking back at it now, I just lose my breath and barely get at a little "Wow ..." It was bad. But hey, I was 14.
I believe the first thread I ever made was about Chicken Helper. (Last edited by QuickMan on 11-19-05 11:21 PM)

I've got to agree with almost everyone here on some parts.

Sex = I think if you're truly in love with someone, heck, even married, there is absolutely no problem to have sex, just to have sex (instead of doing it just to have children). Even though I have not had sex myself, yet, it just seems like it's a useful thing in many ways (of course, when two are truly bound). - It's a good work out and works like every muscle in your body. - It's an intimate time with your love and can probably bring the two even closer. - It surely can be one of the best stress relievers. So really, when treated with care and honesty, sex can be healthy to put it simply. ... coming from someone who's a virgin. (Last edited by QuickMan on 11-20-05 01:42 AM)
