| Ducking below the stab was a fine way to avoid damage. However, the punch simply hit Jason in the arm, Vincent being too low to hit any higher without being stabbed.
With a step backwards, the teenager sent a slash downwards, towards Vincent's head. With the man crouching from the duck, dodging this fatal blow would be difficult. |

| The sun reaching peak altitude in the sky, the streets were busy during rush hour. Well, every hour in the city is rush hour. People bustling from one place to the next, black suits and fancy dresses stop for coffee or just lean against a building for a quick smoke, taking away the stress of the day in deep puffs.
Walking down the sidewalk, Phoenix slid between groups of people, scanning the streets for something interesting. In his mortal form, Phoenix had very little trouble blending in with those around him. The brown hair hanging in his face needed to be cut, and blue eyes reflected the suns rays in a brilliant manner. All in all, he looked to be a normal human strolling the streets during a business break. But this was not the case. For about an hour, an itch had been irritating the back of his neck, and simply wouldn't go away. It would twitch in one direction, and then another within the second. Someone powerful was around, but Phoenix was unable to spot them. Hopefully they were friend, and not foe. |

There was no time to waste against this threat. "I ask you to stop, or I shall have to make you by force," Phoenix called out over the endless screams and crashes below. Holding his sword loosely by his side, the immortal waited for a response. |
