for those of u into the Noir genre of film, u should check out the movie "Brick". i linked the trailer above. the movie was incredible. it really did Film Noir a service. it is considered "artsy" by some ppls standards, but it is still worth seeing. |

| ive been reading this thread, and alot of u r saying that Champloo and Bebop r waay too similar. there is a reason for that, the director and creator of Bebop (Shinichiro Watanabe) also created Champloo. Mugen and Spike r very similar considering their physical build, yet uncanny fighting skills. Watanabe wanted Spike to be a Bruce Lee type character (because they r both smallish yet pack a mean ass punch). btw Mugens fighting style is called Champloo Kempo (which means "mixed fighting" literally). also i love this anime. | |||

| Sajin, Sublime isnt Trip-Hop. theyre more Ska and Punk. Trip-Hop is more of a British thing that is characterized by down-tempo beats. it is called Trip-Hop for this reason: "Trip" meaning unusual and "Hop" because Trip-Hop derives from Hip-Hop. | |||
