I was debating if I should keep this open or not. We could just talk about this in the Naruto thread. But before the post wipe, there was a seperate thread. So I guess we can keep this one.

Toonami doesn't control how the show is edited. The licensing company does. And considering that the company that licensed Naruto, also has Hamtaro and Inuyasha licensed. I think it's safe to say that it will be butchered.....But there's always hope.... |

It's disagree that it's a mindless hack and slasher. You need stratedgy to survive in this game. Simply slamming the slash or shoot button will get you nowhere fast. The story is better than the previous two, and the dialogue has been improved. (Though Dante still manages to say a corny line here and there.) |

I'm not going to be naive, because I do know it's there. But there's definately not enough of it to ban all Rap music.

With the absence of a certain character, and Sakura sporting new moves, i'd say she's going to be a satisfactory character now. Before she was basically just a cheerleader, but now she's got potential.

I agree and disagree with you AoL. The series lately has shown its DBZ influence more so then ever. This is because the creator of Naruto is a big fan of Akira Toriyama. But Naruto is far from a DBZ clone. It actually has a worthy plot that changes consistently. Not the same "Fight, die, resurrect, rinse, repeat" cycle that DBZ fell into. The latest epic battle between two of the characters reaked of DBZ though. Attack, power-up, attack, power-up....they even had a power struggle! But everything previous to that fight has not been that bad. The fights do not span more than two to three episodes (if its between two people). And the flashbacks are kept to a minimum. Inner Sakura barely ever appears. So I don't really understand how it can bug you that much. I don't think you've really seen much of it, and you're just basing your opinon off and episode here or there that you've see. (I could be wrong though. But that's what it appears.)

Street fighter and Dark stalkers are both fighting games, which is in a complete different genre. And you don't have to be skilled to do well in both those games. Fighting games are the easiest games to button mash in. Don't get me wrong, fighting games are my favorite.

The first level is the easiest. Button mashing is easy to do because the level consists of basic enemies. Guarantee you won't be able to beat level 2 on normal by just button smashing.

Not because I believe he's innocent, but because he has yet to be proven guilty. Most of you would be terrible on a jury. Our constitution states you are innocent until proven guilty. Most of you are basing your judgements on his appearance and his past, not on the evidence in the current trial. Thinking someone is 'weird' is not basis enough to label them guilty. When you're labeling someone guilty, you have to have beyond a reasonable doubt that they're guilty. Stating that someone is guilty because you want to get things over with is wrong and unconstitutional. I can't say that he's guilty, because I still have doubts about the evidence against him.

Kabuto is another genin that is testing to become a chuunin. He's very smart and keeps tabs on everyone he meets. He's very generous to Naruto, he seems to be weaker then the rest.....*Smiles and kicks Xeo in the foot.* |

I like to consider tomatoes vegetables. I'm fully aware on what they really are, but it satisfies some odd part of me to label them as a vegetables. Same with cucumbers, corn, and all those other vegetablish fruits.

I haven't seen the American version. But from what I hear it's basically the same. I bought the special edition before it hit the states. The special edition has alot of extended scenes that makes the movie even more a guilty pleasure to watch. At one point they do the thriller dance in the middle of the street....

I decided to check it out. It's not bad, and best of all its free. I still prefer the real video games for the cube and ps2. But this will entertain me when i'm bored. |

I played the demo and I wasn't to impressed. But that may because I just finished playing DMC3 so it's not a very fair comparison. You can do alot of neat things, most of them not even revealed in the demo. But of what I played, the combat didn't WOW be very much. |
