Yeah, that's what most likely will happen with me with this one as well. My mom is definitely going to buy this one since she beaten the last 3 of them already. I'll bum the game off of her and I'll be all the more happier. I think I've bummed a couple of games off of her already.

I think I only had about 25 posts before the sync anyways -- and I probably won't pass anyone anytime soon. I have yet to reach 100 posts on this board -- the highest I've ever gotten was 71 on the old board. And let's see how long you can keep that lead there Xeo.

There are only 3 things that I do while on the internet:

(1) Study Japanese -- which takes about 70% of my time.
(2) Look up different FAQs for games -- probably about 5% of the time.
(3) Spend time posting on various message boards -- takes up the rest of the 25% of the time that I'm online.

Pretty boring huh?

Well, Xeo, if you keep that up, I should expect to see a syndrome coming up soon -- only natural since you got all that free time on your hands. Heh, I'll try ranking a second time on the DPR -- wouldn't that be something?

This thread is to discuss what you have in your room and how you have it set up. You can also post a few pics if you want. My bedroom is pretty basic -- I have a bunch of Japanese books everywhere, my bed, my television with my PS2 and Gamecube (on the floor), and my laptop which I like to keep on my bed. Oh yeah, there's also a few CDs hanging around too -- I'm always in a different mood when it comes to music. Heh, I can't wait to see what some rooms are like, lol.

Well, there's one vacation spot that I have been talking about for over a year now and one that's not listed there in the choices -- and that's Japan. I'm really pushing on going there in 5 months -- it's going to be close, but I think I can do it.

Oh yeah, with a wonderful place such as that, I'd be stupid not to take pictures of it. When I do, I will post them on the board. I might even post a video or two, I don't know. We'll see though.

Anybody recognize the screenshot in #32? Here's a hint: It's an attempt (not a very good one) at a sequel to a popular game on the NES. And the sequel title didn't have a number in it. If you want to know what it is, here's the answer:

Spoiler:
Equinox (NES Game = Solstice)

Wow, this is someone I haven't seen on ANY board in a long time. Welcome back to Xeogaming, Leon -- good to see you still coming around.

I have not had the pleasure of eating sushi yet. I supposed if I'm going to go to Japan soon, I'll have to try some of these things. I don't mind trying new things, but I was a little leary on eating raw food. But since I have heard that it's probably good for you, I might go ahead and eat some. I love rice though -- I can pretty much eat rice with anything.

Makura: You're half Japanese? Wow, that's awesome.

My avatar, which I have been using for a while now, is Jesse from Xenogears. I have a bunch of the Xenogears character avatars on my server. I don't know, I think the Jesse one best fits me and my personality for now, lol.

Yeah, they are pretty good. I use to eat them a lot when I was younger, but I still find myself going to the cheese/meat sections of the grocery store and picking one or two out once in a while. I find that pretty fascinating -- especially at my age.

Well, I haven't watched that many animes to begin with so I don't have anything to compare this one to, but I thought the episodes that I did see were interesting, to say the least. There was one episode that I saw that they were in an RPG game complete with monsters HP stats and "menus." This show has that "Quantum Leap" sort of premise -- at least that's what I get from watching it.

Wasabi sauce. . .oishikunai yo. . . Well, I put that sauce on something that I was eating at a Japanese restaurant, and I was immediately surprised by the taste. It almost came through my nose, lol. That's what I get for trying something that I had no idea of what it was.

Xeo, I'm half Mexican, not at all Asian. I just find the Japanese style of life -- the eating, the culture, the country, and especially the language very fascinating.

But when it comes to staff discussions, I sometimes don't exactly know what to think when a "Staff Vacation" thread is the most active thread in the Staff forum. What am I supposed to think? With staff constantly taking "vacations", I sometimes question the staff we currently have. There are a few exceptions, and in no way am I a posting nazi when it comes to staff, but it just doesn't seem like the way it used to be.

I know what you mean on this statement, Xeo. Unfortunately, I am going through the same thing on my board. Yeah, I attempted to do a staff change as well, but as someone pointed out on there, is it really going to do any good? Probably not.

Again, you'd probably never see a board owner make a public statement such as this, and maybe I'm making myself look bad, but hey, like I said I'm completely human myself, and would "like" this place to be a thriving community.

Xeo, by no means are making yourself look bad in the slightest. You care about what happens to your board and that is exactly the way it should be. Frankly, I'd wonder about the future of a board if the board owner didn't care what would happen to it. I have noticed that the board went down to as low as 58 posts during the last 24 calculated hours -- that's extremely low for XGF, considering what "normal" activity is around here.

I won't be shutting this place down, or anytime soon regardless as how the activity and dedication to this place has almost fallen. . .

Yeah, as you and quite a few other people have pointed out, you'd only regret the decision of shutting the board down if it ever came to that. My board has "escaped" shutdown three times. . .

In short, I know what you're going through Xeo -- as I'm currently going through that now. All in all though, you're doing a great job of maintaining the board -- despite 3 shutdowns/restarts since I've become a member. Keep up the good work man.

So far, I have only played this game for a few days and only managed to accumulate a total of 4.5% game completion. This game is far better than the third one with hundreds of more cars and close to 100 tracks. The licenses I think are a little more challenging than before, but I'm managing to pass them fine. The diary is also a useful feature as it keeps track of your "daily" activities (game clock). What do you guys think of this game?

How many of you guys have completed all of the episodes to this game? There are a lot of "hacks" out there as well using this engine. I went out and bought the computer version of the game about a year ago and have completed about 2 of the episodes on the disc. I enjoyed playing this game a lot -- especially beating up the bosses.

Yeah, Xeogaming Post Wars does have a nice ring to it though. I think that will be the choice that most people will make. I, myself, voted for this title.
