I just need to know, would it be worth me trying to get one that records direct to DVDs, making it easier to upload to the computer, or get one about £60-£100 cheaper by getting one that uses tapes?
Here's a pretty cheap one: http://www.cameras2u.com/products/details.cfm?PRODUCT=CCDTRV238 It uses tapes, and the zoom isn't as good as the camcorder below, but it does include a built in light so I can record at night a bit easier. The camcorder that uses DVDs: http://www.cameras2u.com/products/details.cfm?PRODUCT=DVD106 This one supports both DVDs and Memory Card Duos, so I can get my videos on to my computer VERY EASILY. It also has better zoom, 2.5" LCD screen and Super NightShot Plus and Super SteadyShot. But it's about £85 more expensive. Just really need opinions, or even links to other camcorders. Please, if you do, no links to american sites. They're probably loads cheaper but they never deliver to the UK. |

I say straight to DVD. No one does editting using VHS anymore, and if you wanted to you'd need some equipment you probably don't have. Just my suggestion though. | |||
