| Yeah, in my ten years of work history I feel like I've been at both the extremes. Either I'm the one leaving jobs quickly and leaving friends and people behind, or I'm one of the last ones to leave when I finally realize all the people I cared for are gone with my two longer jobs I had, lol. I guess it's a reminder that in the end it really can be best to look at for yourself first and that isn't selfish.
I still want to get to the Philippines sometime, maybe I mentioned that to you Rogue haha. |

| I hadn't heard that, no. Cool! Despite being half, I've never been before, but I'm hearing very mixed things about going. Mostly being health concerns.
I had a great day at work yesterday, even if it was just a typical, average day for the old center.

| Brandon's brother has a new girlfriend and she already has a kid. We haven't met yet, but our first time seeing anything with her was a video she posted on Facebook of herself hiding behind a door and when Joe walked into the room she punched him in the groin. He falls on the ground in pain and she picks up the camera and keeps going, "I love you."

| Sounds like the vast majority of Butler.... also, what a dick move!
Nerves are setting in for the trip... a lot of things are kinda "on the fly" planning and that drives me kinda crazy. Vacation-mode Elara is far more organized than Everday Elara... like, Hermione at exam time level. I cleaned the apartment yesterday so it would be nice for our cat sitter... Kaleb left a mess in the kitchen and I flipped out when I came home. I think the stress is getting to me. It's all clean again. Can't really do anything else until laundry gets done tomorrow. Eeep. Told my dad today that Kaleb and I were dating now. He was kinda surprised yet not surprised. I had thought they had figured it out by now. It seems everyone else has... but who knows. |

| New notebook, new fountain pen plus extra cartridges for it, fancy sticky notes (one set to be a gift for a friend -- hedgehogs and they cost $7 alone), two scented candles (one of them one of those Paddywax author-themed ones they also sell at the Huntington gift shop -- I got Mark Twain: tobacco flower and vanilla-scented), and a monthly planner.
Yeah, I was planning on going out last night, but instead spent the whole evening in writing with my new pen in my new notebook. I'm a sucker for journals. I don't write in most of them, though I miss the time in my life when I would just sit somewhere and drink coffee and write bullshit down. Anyway, back-to-school shopping was a major highlight of every summer. New pens and pencils, new binders. I miss it all. |

So one of my clients was searching the web for online games he could play and he freaking stumbled upon Vizzed. I was working with another client and when I looked up he was looking at the main page of their board then suddenly hit back and went through the Google search options again. It was bizarre. |
