Has been finally finalized

I think I already made a thread about this like a year ago

But now that its a year later...I thought this topic would be awesome to bring up.

So discuss this movie.

This has a lot of room for fucking up.

However, as long as they put the ninja in it, i'm gravy.

Well, I understand David Hayter, the voice actor for Solid Snake, whon directed parts of X-Men 2, is getting help from Hideo Kojima himself to direct this movie.

And I do believe they are going to come in parts, I bet the first movie is going to be a part of the Shadow Moses saga.

Ok, the guy who plays Sawyer from Lost, see avatar for picture would make a perfect snake.

And the guy who plays Chase from House would make a perfect Liquid.

So, that's my opinion.

The movie should be amazing or I'll kill someone.

Lets see...
Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metal Gear solid VR missions, Metal Gear Acid, Metal Gear Acid 2, Metal Gear Solid portable ops
Thats what I can think of. Oh and the twin snakes gamecube game and the NES game.

Not including Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid portable ops which is coming out...

So that "I" can think of 11.

There was also Metal Gear Solid: Intergral. The PC version...which different differ much from the playstation version...It was a little bit more detailed...and had 14 different conversations with Colonal Cambell, Master Miller, and even Mei Ling.

Just thought I would add that to the mix. Im planning on Making a Metal Gear Solid 4 thread here soon when I get more information from Konami's site

Well, I know that it was picked up by Sony, and though I didn't hear about David Hayter directing it, I was hearing some talk about him starring as Snake.

So what would the movie be based apon? The videogames? Since there are twelve of them I have no idea how they would go about doing that. Possibly choose one of them...? Anybody want to enlighten me?

I don't think anyone really knows, otherwise it would probably already be posted. I've been checking IMDB regularly for new info on the MGS movie, as well as the Halo movie and District B13. That last one seems really interesting, like "the best action movie since Casino Royale" interesting.

Wow... Casino Royale was pretty good. I wonder if they can top it. Or if they are just saying that to get us excited.

Let's not forget the actually incredibly great Metal Gear games for the Gameboy... I went and played them, and I was amazed.

Oh and of course, Snake's Revenge, which wasn't very impressive. ^^:
