| Finally finished the first season of Downton Abbey. I like it a lot, what's more it's trippy seeing the girl who plays Ygritte on Game of Thrones being a maid who wants to be a secretary. I love this actress so much.
Also I've been glued to the TV, watching the Olympics, whenever we go out and it's on on some TV in the bar or at a restaurant. Plus I spent a good chunk of last night watching the live feed of JPL when Curiosity landed. So many good things to watch lately. |

The first Doctor I ever saw full episodes for was Chris Eccleston several years back. I didn't really get into it then, but I've been watching a lot of Matt Smith episodes lately. Mostly for River Song storylines. I love that character. Right now watching Zorba the Greek on Turner Classic Movies. |

| I liked the Eccleston doctor just because of how different he was... but I think Tennant is still my favorite. Of course, I have seen none of the Matt Smith stuff yet.
Just finished watching the first season of Newsroom... honestly a great series. I just wish that something like that had really happened. |

| I just can't stand the companions Tennant had. I'm sure loads of people have their issues with 11 and Amy Pond, but I actually like them. Amy's got her own man and isn't all wildly attracted to the doctor in a romantic way.
I hated Donna and Rose, and what's more that final episode with both of them not wanting to say good-bye to the doctor was nauseating. Donna was all smug when she thought was getting him all to herself after they dumped Rose in the alternate universe and was just so damned annoying as Dr. Donna. Before Amy all of the female companions were just so jealous and shitty. I dig Amy/Rory. And now that 11's getting a new companion, I BET you she's going to be romantically interested in him and will be ridiculously jealous of his thing with River and be cocksure that she'll get him to herself. Again, I'm mostly into this for the River Song stuff. She makes it all worthwhile for me. Oh, uh, I'm watching The Big Bang Theory reruns. |

| Watching one of the pirate myths episodes of Mythbusters. Just watched them fire a bunch of cutlery at a dead pig.
Looking forward to the new episode of The Big Bang Theory tomorrow night. Up to date on Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Doctor Who, Sons of Anarchy, and shamefully Bridezillas. Heh, this past week's bride didn't get married after a catty fight with her future in-laws. Eh, it's a guilty pleasure. |

Finally all caught up on Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Sons of Anarchy, Bridezillas (it's my terrible addiction  ), Face Off, and now The Walking Dead, which just started up again as well as The Guild.

| Found a nifty show that should be just up your ally, Rogue. I think it's on AMC, and it's called Hell on Wheels... it's about the building of the Transcontinental Railroad and the main character is a Confederate veteran... it makes for a very interesting show. The second season just ended. | |||

| I've actually seen the first season. I thought it was good. I started into the second season, but just didn't absorb the first episode and didn't pick up the next one.
Bohannan's a good character, as is Colm Meaney's. Wasn't much of a fan of Lily's near the end of the first season since it looks like they're trying to get her into Bohannan. I'm determined to cosplay as Eva one of these days. |

| Finally watched the Star Wars Clone Wars movie setting up for the series. This is definitely exciting... SO much Star Wars material I haven't even touched, and it sounds amazing. I could already tell from the movie, Douku actually seems kind of cool now, Anakin is completely different (in a good way), and yeah. Seems like it redeems how bad the prequels turned out.
Stoked to dive into the full show sometime soon. |
