I haven't watched the more recent seasons, but I found it quite entertaining.

Finished Star Trek: The Next Generation, waiting for Deep Space Nine to come in the mail along with the first disk of Chrono Crusade (six years later I will finally finish the series and get Ben to watch it). I've actually never seen DS9 before so I am looking forward to that.

We are also watching Louis C.K.'s new show, Louie, the new season of Burn Notice, and Torchwood: Miracle Day. Ben keeps complaining that we are paying for cable yet never watching it now that hockey season is over... and I have decided it is better that I not point out that it is because when he isn't watching Netflix (he watched all seven seasons of Numb3rs in a few weeks) or something that he downloaded to watch (since our cable doesn't carry all the networks we like), he's playing Assassin's Creed or some other video game... so when the hell can we actually see if there is anything good on?

Watching Burlesque, starring Cher, Christina Aguilera, Kristen Bell, Alan Cumming, and Peter Gallager. It claims to be an homage to Bob Fosse's Cabaret, but it just feels like a cheap rip-off the moment you see the opening act (which pulls directly from "Wilkommen").

On top of that it feels like a rip-off of (OF ALL THINGS) Coyote Ugly.

The acts aren't bad, but eh.. I could never see it again and be fine.

I'm actually watching a gameshow on ABC, its called 101 Ways To Leave a Gameshow. Its just a regular gameshow, with questions, and if you are wrong, you leave the show in the most rediculus matter too. Its so funny to watch their reaction to the ways. Funny show.

In the process of downloading the newest episode of "The Guild." We'll see if I'm in this one.

Otherwise, TV's on. Not paying attention to it, but it's one a cooking show about Italy.

We've recently been watching The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes from 1984-94 and I really have to say that Jeremy Brett truly is a remarkable Holmes.

Watching Clash of the Titans. Not the original one with Ray Harryhausen's effects, but the new one starring Sam Worthington. It's OK so far, but really CG heavy.

I'm re-watching American Graffiti for like the first time in a decade. I suddenly realized Superbad lifted so many plot points from it and the two movies have so much in common.

Then again, Seth Rogen and his friend wrote Superbad when they were 17. It's likely they saw American Graffiti and were inspired.

Since I've got a month of free Hulu Plus I'm watching as many old shows as possible before canceling my subscription. Right now I'm working on The Greatest American Hero.

I was watching a few episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess, but when I suddenly got an itch to watch Hercules The Legendary Journeys and discovered they don't have that one, I got a bit sad.

This Asian-American media activist group I was briefly associated with, HATED that movie and put together a mass boycott against it. The reason? Because there was a part when these guys beat the shit out of Dr. Ken's character, said they were going to cover it up, and then he apologized to his attackers saying he was Korean.

Apparently they also felt this was a lot like the Vincent Chin murder that happened in Detroit where these two out of work autoworkers beat up a Chinese man allegedly believing he was Japanese and thus the reason for their unemployment, referring to the rise of sales in Japanese-made vehicles.

Anyway, I haven't seen it. But these guys take credit for it not doing as well in the box office. They like to sift through media and look for things that would vaguely piss off Asians.

Watching Nova right now. They're doing this fascinating piece on human evolution and how homo habilis came after this area of Africa it lived in was going through drastic changes 2 million years ago after our ancestors before him all had relatively the same, smaller-sized brains. Interesting stuff.

Honestly, that scene in particular was MUCH funnier in the previews. I totally understand why people get upset over things like this, but with an open mind, everything is funny. The preview, however, didn't show the full extent of the scene. They took it a little too far...but Dr. Ken's face during the scene at one point was what made me feel bad actually. I didn't even know the other situation.

Besides, there's an old white guy in the movie who is the essence of the old-time mentality, and they make him look like a joke/idiot for being that way. The preview was just hilarious when the old guy was looking at Dr. Ken, as they were chanting, and Ken looked like he was going to piss himself. If they would have left it somewhere around there, I think it would have been a lesser deal...and funnier. **shrugs** In my opinion.

Yeah, I'm just saying what others thought about it. I haven't seen it, so I haven't formed my own opinion. :/

They've gotten pretty pissed about other things in the past. They went after Sarah Silverman for saying "chinks" on Conan. It was meant in irony, but, well, with it being said on network television, anyone could have seen it and thus it was thoroughly condemned by this group to the point that she went on Politically Incorrect to defend herself and cry about the appearance, and then the president of the organization dragged her back onto that show to chew her out on television.

Being half-Asian myself, I believed in a lot of what they stood for, but I felt very hesitant on many of the stances they took (Sarah Silverman being one of them).

I'm watching Tron Legacy again. Borrowed it from the library.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

I've never watched this series before, so it is interesting. So far I still have to say that I like The Next Generation and Voyager better.

I'm currently in love with a show called Misfits, a show about five people doing community service who gain superpowers during a crazy storm... coupled with raunchy, dry British humour!

The latest episode of The Guild. It was finally uploaded to Zune after enough fans got upset. I think they're just pissy because they want to see if they're in this episode or not.

I'm in two episodes this season.

EDIT: Love the secret guest this episode. Tee hee hee.

I hate what I've seen of The Guild.

@Elara: Yeah DS9 ran alongside TNG back in the day, I loved both but TNG was definitely way better. Can't beat that cast.
