| There has probably been a thread about this at sometime, but whatever. I am curious what pets you guys have!?
Currently I have just a Cat, Biscuit's the name. My neighbor left town for a month and I am watching his Geko (actually he is on my shoulder right now... everyone say hi to gekie!). I want to get a corn snake as well though. So yes! Post away! |

| Well... technically I have two snakes. They are mainly venomouslobster's, but we call them our snakes. One is a cranky black pine snake named Edmund and the other is a cute baby ball python named Jormangand (or Gandy for short). | |||

| i gots 2 dogs and 2 snakes and i used to have a scorpion but it died from cowardice/starvation (it was deathly afraid of feeder crickets....very sad)
their dossiers are available below Name: Cammy Species: dog (beagle/basset/pitbull mutt) Likes: food, attention, and things that may possibly be food or basiclly anything she can justify eating Dislikes:Rearranged furniture this dog is smart and affectionate and has been my friend and companion for years, unfortunatly she is very old, blind, deaf, and has ceased to care about what/who she attemts to eat. she seems to have the whole house mapped out in her head, and runs around it bumping into our legs and then barking at us for getting in our way....and to give her food...and for no reason whatsoever Name: Rose Species:dog (black lab) Likes: your undivided worship Dislikes: anything less this dog is phenomenally dumb and a complete attention whore Name: Edmund Blackadder Species: Black Pine Snake Likes:exploring, darkness, boobs,cosplaying a rattlesnake Dislikes: you Edmund is basicly a crochety bastard. he doesnt get handled regularly enough because when he does he does things like escape and climb into the door of the dishwasher, crawl across three peoples shoulders and dive into the cleavage of whatever girl in the room is most terrified of snakes (it seems to be a fetish)...so after a few months of not being picked up or held much, he seems to have forgotten that humans arent going to eat him and so anytime you reach into his tank he does his rattlesnake impression. He isnt the slightest bit venomous but he prepares to strike, starts hissing like crazy and the tip of his tail actually vibrates, as though he wants desperatly to be a rattler (he is kind of a fanboy i guess)...then of course he bites you...which stings like a papercut but doesnt bleed and only compounds the not getting handled problem...its a vicious cycle. Name: Jormundgand/Ormungandr Species: Ball Python likes:dirupting my typing, being held, pockets dislieks..keyboarfds evidently Jormungand is an adorable little baby python whose fondest wish is to be warm and wrapped around a friendly appendage, or balled up in a warm lap. Like most ball pythons she is totally nonaggressive and quite friendly. Generally she is slow to act (unless there are delicious mice at stake, then she strikes very quickly indeed) so she wont wander off. She seems very content to act as a sort of scaly necktie and so i take her places with me sometimes...so cute (she is my favorite, can you tell?). She seems to recognize people and whenever one approaches her she lazily lifts her head up to regard them with her flickering tongue or activly climbs onto them. she will grow to be about seven feet long (Last edited by venomouslobster on 12-29-06 07:43 AM) |

| Let's see, four dogs, and a cat. The cat may possbily be pregnant at the moment, meaning that we'll have a lot more. As for the the dogs, we have the Golden Retrievers, only one of which actually likes to run after balls, and a german shepherd which will run after anything that moves, and treats the goldens as sheep. | |||

I have a cat named Jessica at my Dad's, and 3 dogs, Yuki, Chopper, Sasha, at my mom's.
So cute. At my Grandmother's, there are about 6 cats, and 3 dogs... Cats are named: Gussie, Bella, Caddie, Ceaser, Pooh Bear, Nonie, and the Dogs are named Churchil, Simi, and Hurkamir. | I thought it varied by breed. I know generally they are long lived as a species, but isn't Jormangand going to far outlive Edmund?

, i dont remember why, i was really young. We got a kitten from my mom's friend, whose cat had just had kittens. She was a calico, who we named Peaches and Cream (we caller P.C.) She is vicious. We brought her home, this litle fluffball of a cat, and she scared Tasha away...We saw her once in a while when she came in for food, but havent seen her in a long time. Anyways PC is one of the weridest cats ever. She has multiple personalities, im sure of it. For a month or two, she will be so cuddly (its so cute, she'll go under your blanket if shes cold...) then the next day, shes really skiddish, and you cant get near her. She's also very territorial. Ive seen her scare away dogs....dobermans. But she's the smallest cat ever. About a year after we got her, she had two kittens. An all grey one, who i named Smokey, and a black one, with a white stomach and paws, who i named Sneakers.
. He's not really cuddly, its just that, if you put him near you, he stays there
