| I slept over Xeios' house last night. Or rather, didn't sleep.

| Yeah, I showed up at 8, and Scott (manager at EB) let us in at 11. Then the Wii retailer guy showed up and we got cool shit. I got: A DS pen, an Elite Beat Agents Badge thingy, a Wii shirt, Wii notebook, and a Wii sticker.
And before 11, when we are all lined up, he came out once and a while and gave out 'awards'. Some of the stuff he had. I got a patch for knowing so much. He said that I was always there, telling customers about the Wii. I always knew the launch dates, the changes, and hell sometimes even how many units he had. My mom got a cool DS Lite lanyard for guessing his ringtone. Oh, and I was the first one (just because he bumped me to the front because I had some trade-ins  ), and so I got filmed by a news crew when he gave out the first Wii. It was cool... |

| I got it, as Cairoi so kickassitudinally presented with much large text. I got Zelda, Red Steel, and Trauma Center. All of which kick ass. Trauma Center is essentially a port with better graphics, much better. Red steel is kinda fun but mainly enjoyed because of the fact that it's a shooter on the Wii. And Zelda just pwns everything. | |||

I've beaten Zelda, gotten everything but all the poe's. And now I'm halfway through it for a 3 heart run (its too easy!). - Zelda is god. - Wii sports is amazingly fun with friends. - Rayman game is interesting and puts the Wiimote to a lot of use. - ExciteTruck is awesome but has a learning curve to it. - DBZ Tenchachi 2 is impossible to play with the Wiimote, but you can use GC controllers. |

| I am going to get the Nintendo Wii tomorrow. I am waking up at 4:00am and my parents are driving My neighbor, my cousin and I to target which opens at 7:00am . We have three ds's and a psp, and we might bring a tv and plug in the ps2 . I am planning to get Zelda and DBZ... but what else?
I mean when the other games come out I know (Bleach, Brawl) but I mean, what other good games are out now? |

My friend has DBZ for it, and we beat tenkaichi 2 with the wii mote no problem  its really simple once you get it figured out. and waving it violently dont work.
But I love the wii! I hope one of my bors gets it for x-mas XD |

| I really dont understand the logic of posting about getting the Wii on the second shipment when this thread is about getting it right when it came out, but whatever.
Me and a certain someone got the Wii on the second shipment camping out all night for it at Best Buy. 2nd and 3rd in line and what not. They were so orderly about it, they handed out tickets and only let 4 or 5 people come in at a time to pick up the Wii. For all that waiting, we got in and out withing 5 minutes, but in that 5 minutes, like 3 cop cars had pulled up and were watching to make sure no one got jumped walking out with the Wii. And I have to say, this was the best 367 dollar investment I have ever made. Red Steel and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 rock out loud, and if you dont want to buy anything else but the Wii set, Wii Sports is the single greatest game to showcase the Wii, and is sure to keep you playing long after your arm starts to hurt like a mother. After Christmas, I think I will be getting Zelda, Elebits, and FE 11, along side with a 1 gig SD card. And does anyone else think that they should have put a 1 gig flash memory into the Wiimote to save your game data AND you Mii so all you can just take you Wiimote to your friends house... And about that DDR on the Wii, that sounds insane. Though I could see some sort of drum game for the Wii or even a guitar game (Last edited by Jedi Master Desroth on 12-19-06 01:22 AM) |

| Yeah, you can take your Mii's and place them into your Wiimote, but so far I think that is all you can save to the Wiimote.
Next question, how do you play GC games on it? I know all you have to do is put the game in, but do you need a special controler for it or does your Wiimote do it all for you? I really dont feel like breaking back into my box, since I was thinking of Ebaying the box for display or whatnot. |

| Yeah, you just slip the game in. But you have to have a GC controller to play the games.
Then for VC games, you'll usually see a picture next to the image of the game that'll show you which controllers you can use (Wiimote, GC controller, Classic controller). |
