| So here I am thinking about what I should do with my night. Either
A) Hang out with my more true, and real friends. Watch TV, videogames, go to Wal-Mart really late and hang out outside and do random stuff or: B) Go to a supposedly "real" party with a bunch of people I know through work. Everytime a party comes up they beg me to come (honestly I am worshipped over, lol). They always say even if I didn't drink at all, my appearance would be amazing. Supposedly they're doing some kind of "Pimps and Hoe's" thing tonight, and it sounded goofy. But, as usual I doupt I'll go ... I just never do. I'm invited to almost all of these parties, but I never go. I've never drank or anything, so maybe I'm intimidated? And I can't lie, it sounds interesting because there will be a great deal of women there, honestly something I don't always see with my usual friends. But I don't know, there's always that one guy who always goes on and on about how the parties aren't that great, and when people go overboard with drinking they can get pretty retarded and stupid (Last Sunday my Asst. slept for a few hours in the office because he was so hung over). I mean I like the guys at work and everything. I don't know. Its not like I want to drink. I really have no idea what the point of this topic is, or really what point I'm even trying to make; but I'm just letting you guys know!?  (Last edited by Steve! on 10-21-06 09:35 PM) |

| Ironically the cast I used to be in is doing a pimp-and-ho' night tonight too.
Since I'm sure you've already made your decsion of whether or not to go, I'd have said (if I weren't stuck at the zoo from sunrise 'til an hour ago) to go just to see how their party is. In the past I'd been invited to several parties that I just didn't go to and I found myself feeling like I was missing out. Even if the party was a bust, at least you'd have not been doing something you could do any other night of the year. Meh ... I feel old. Especially after being surrounded by people pushing strollers with screaming kids that I know I'm never going to want and then having to yell about being over charged for a plate of chicken and a bottle of water ... but that's got nothing to do with the price of eggs. |

Go with A, you're guarenteed to have a good time, and your friends will appreciate you hanging out with you. And the party, if you think about it, if there's alcohol involved no one will remember if you were there or not.  |

Okay, all kidding aside (you said to call you a wuss), do what you want to do. You wanna bond with coworkers, go to the party. Hell, Disneyland cast member parties were the best things ever about working there, both the ones sponsored by the park ("cast nights") and the ones done only by coworkers at their houses, Denny's, bars, restaurants, the beach... If not, go to the next one. Or hang out. Hell, jack off for all I care. Just do what you want to do. Screw what people at work think. They're just coworkers...probably some people you'll never see again, or you'll start to see less. Hell, I don't see a lot of my friends. I see my coworkers more than my friends now. I don't see any of my old Disney friends. I miss those guys. And my TSA friends. *sigh* |

| You know you could actually do both which in reality is the most fun.
Getting drunk and playing video games and going to wal mart that is. And plus it will increase your gamming skills. None of my friends can beat me in Street Fighter when Im drunk and I dont know why...though they can barely beat me in real life either too so i've never take that into account. But heres what you do, go to the party, steal some booze, then go and take it to your other friends. Wa la, own little Xeo party. |

| Xeo going to the party would not have implied him being untrue to his friends, just that he went to a party with another circle of friends. There's no betrayal in that. Gaining more friends and getting closer with new people is a normal part of life. We are social creatures afterall.
But why are we still arguing semantics over something that Xeo did or didn't do a week ago? |
