Honestly, if someone told me about this I would have hated the idea immediately. However I checked it out and I can't wait for it to come out. I mean Marilyn Manson? Fiona Apple? Love Love Love. I despise Fall Out Boy but the clip I heard sounds good. |

| Venomouslobster brought me into the room, had me close my eyes so I would not see the computer (nearly killed myself walking in his room like that, so much junk!) and then clicked the clip of Manson. I don't think my heart ever skipped a beat faster.
... then he forbid me to buy it since it is most likely going to be my birthday present or something. But yes, SQUEE!!! Though I do think that She Wants Revenge could have done better with Kidnap the Sandy Claws from what I heard. |

| So I got the CD... there are only two tracks that I don't like. Fiona Apple's cover of Sally's Song has really nice music... but her voice has me picturing Sally at a bar, drunk and sulky whining to the bartender. And then there is She Wants Revenge's cover of Kidnap the Sandy Claws... monotone singing sucks. Gets stuck in my fucking head though.
The four songs by Danny Elfman are awesome... though Oogie Boogy comes across as gay with a high-pitched voice, which isn't helped by a deep-voiced Santa asking what he's going to do to him. It's insane to hear This is Halloween or Making Christmas though... freaking insane! And of course, Marilyn Manson makes me happy. I'm such a fangirl! Oh yes, and kudos to Fallout Boy and Panic at the Disco, both of thier songs were just awesome and I love them! |
