It was nice while it lasted. I finally got a chance to kill Ace, Shaddow's deaths were always amusing, and there was a decent mix of newbies and people who knew what they were doing. But, interest died off and it's no longer worth my money or yours.

That said, I've talked to Erk about returning the money. Those who donated through Xeogred should talk to him, since Erk is crediting Xeo's account for the amount he sent (which was only $15 according to Erk...)

Huh, that's too bad, and I was just about to join. Once Spartan made my PC. Well, I shall never know the joy of RO. I'll just have to enjoy SWG.

It was fun, it made my faster not-so-boring, got a taste of being in a top-ranks.

To be honest, I was also getting kinda bored. Not of dmRO but of RO in general.

I would like to say thanks to everyone who helped or played DMRO, and to Cheveyo for giving me the chance to GM a serious server. Thank you everyone.
(Oh and you probably wont see me on this board again. Same with Ambush.)

Meh, dmRo was good. Too bad it has to go, but I too have lost interest in RO alltogether pretty much. Maybe I'll join a LOLrate server just to see some classes, and such (since I never really got far in anything during RO ), but other than the small chance of me doing that, I don't think I'll be playing anymore.

I'm still keeping my BGM however. ;P

Not really. Some servers can't live a month.

Like, I'd say dmRO did pretty well, considering that there are other RO servers in the community (the acmlmboard community, that is)

Well, the only reason I picked up RO again was to play on dmRO, but now that dmRO is gone, it's time for me to wipe it off the face of my computer. Besides, I need to avoid playing RO anyway. There's tons of other good stuff that could be using that space...

yeah, i guess i didnt make that thread about how there was this new section for some random game i never heard of before, and how it was so special that it got its own section without a real vote from everyone. and how ppl flamed me about me being stupid never happened either =/ and how i said that only a few ppl would play there, so why does it deserve an entire section on the board and blah blah blah.

I learned from the "raped by a rock" incident, which you should be very familiar with Shaddow, that some people are slow to catch on.

Shows how behind I am. The server closed down for two months ago and I didn't notice the closedown.

To be honest I didn't expect it to be long-lived. *shrug* Every server created by a former tRO player die off eventually activity wise, and tRO isn't as active as it used to. seems to die off eventually. It's a strange curse, but the fact is that RO isn't as popular as it used to, which makes it harder and harder to get players actually join. :/

tRO won't close down anytime soon as Blackhole will keep hosting it even when he lost intrest, as he will probably use the server for other services as well.

I'm well aware this is a slight bump, but I hadn't looked at this forum for ages until Xeo posted a link in the staff forum at Acmlm board.
