Seriously though. My boyfriend's brother has this weak fan plugged into the USB all the time. It doesn't do much, but he's been gathering all sorts of things that are powered by USB that are almost useless. | Hehe, I actually do want to get that USB teddy bear. Mainly to scare kids and then to move data around. Although, I really don't need to move data around as I just use my MP3 player for that(it's pretty good at it, too).
I'm suprised about the things they make for USB(maybe I shouldn't be). A fan and a beverage cooler? Wonder what else they could make for it... |

| I saw a USB powered coffee maker the other day.. im not sure where.. but it was like 20 bucks.. it's amazing what technology can do now adays. You can even get USB Flash Drives that are as thin as a credit card and they hold up to 4 gigs of space.. | |||

| It's just another way to strain the power supply on your computer. Plug in more things that need to be only powered by the USB port. Yes, it frees up the power strip, but it comes at the cost of possibly blowing a power supply and taking up a USB port that could otherwise be used for something important--like a digital camera, camcorder, printer, scanner, or drive port.
I don't need a USB powered light source for my laptop. Nor do I need a USB powered fan, cooler, refrigerator, aquarium, IM-toy, heater, light-up display, auxiliary display, or blow-up porn doll (trust me, it's cumming). |
