| "I feel like writing!" he yelled out of the semi-open window.
"OK!" they yelled back. The room shuddered, and fell silent save for a bit of whimpering. "I want to write," he backed away from the window and paced around the conference room, "but I can't if you don't shut up!" He pointed a gun at a young woman, cowering in a corner with her coworkers. She gasped, and muffled her own tears. "Well, then, John," started a portly man well into his fifties, bound to a conference room chair, "why don't you?" "SHUT UP!!" he fired off a round, forever silencing the executive and creating a nice third eye on the man. The room screamed and fell silent again... Well, I had started writing, but I'm leaving this one as is, with an exception: Someone else can pick up where I left off and continue. And someone after that cliffhanger. And someone else. It's like a group writing exercise. |

John unloaded several more bullets into the portly mans corpse in order, he felt, to punctuate his exclamation. He breathed very deeply and turned around, listening to the silence that he had made manifest with the power of his locution. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a fresh clean handkerchief, still in its packaging. He pressed it against the desk with one hand, not wanting to put down the gun he currently had pointed at some unoriginal hack in the room, and he picked at the wrapping with his fingers to pull forth the handkerchief and daubed it gingerly at the sweat and blood on his brow. "do you understand that nobody LISTENS ANYMORE" his throat had begun to itch from shouting but they needed to be made aware! "but you need to listen! you have to! and not just cause i am going to shoot you if you dont, but because what i am expressing is important! I have words that the whole world needs to hear! I will write a great manifesto and all of you are going to help me! and you will all listen to the power of my words and if ANYONE interupts i shall strike....them....DOWN!!!" John smiled...knowing soon that his great work would be done .....he only needed some time to finish the last touches and then everyone in the world would have to read his magnum opus! |
