As for the contents of the post, I prefer FFIX myself and I have never played FFX so I really have no opinion of it. However I would like their explanation as to why FFVII is the best... and if it's "because Sephiroth is badass" I will shoot them. I mean, yeah it is a great game with a good story and all that... and Sephiroth is cool, but all the people that go on and on and on about the game being the best just because of him make me so pissed! Same thing for the Cloud fanatics.

I'm FUCKING sick of hearing people babble on about Final Fantasty VII is better then all the rest, especially for shit reasons. I appreaciate intelligent reasons, not anything this fucker could come up with. I love all the Final Fantasy games, and if you're intelligent enough to understand the plot of X, I commend you.

But this fucking douchewad needs his fingers cut off.

For future reference, my favorite Final Fantasy is 8. But I really liked 10, it was amazing.

I feel like the odd one out, I always felt FFVIII was the best for some reason... I never even completed the game.

Although I do believe FFX was pretty crap...

The Final Fantasy series has made an impact on me, I haven't played 3,4,5 or 6, so I cannot judge which is the best and which is the worst.

I loved 7. It was the first type of game I've played in the RPG format, it's the first RPG I've beaten, and it's the first time I actually paid attention to the storyline in a game. It also had a decent storyline. The quintessential RPG in my opinion. Memorable characters. Cloud was a good well rounded character. His past not only 'haunted' him, it ran his life...He thought he was someone else for pete's sake. He also had many untimely seizures and was locked into some sort of coma for a while there.

I liked 8. It was by far the graphical superior of 7. It did kick some ass, but the characters were not memorable enough for me. Zell was an idiot that I'd have punched repeatedly in the neck. Squall...whined a lot and was trying too hard to be the "Misunderstood Hero."

9 was...decent...It's honestly sad to say that the character with the most character in this game didn't even have a face. Yes, Vivi was the most interesting person to come out of this game...And I didn't find that cool.

10...uhg. An OK game wrapped in a melodramatic storyline, wrapped in a slew of insignifcant people, wrapped in a dude wearing Leiderhosen. What can I say other than...hire better voice actors...PLEASE!

X-2 The miniseries... Took the characters from an old game(only the females), made them 'important', gave them different sets of magical clothing, took some cool elements from Tactics, and left whatever resembled a storyline at the production tables.

12... Haven't played yet(its not out yet) and I already detest it. Seriously, how low will they go to make two consecutive male 'heroes' with Meg Ryan's haircut.

11. Don't go there girlfriend.

1 + 2 on GBA, Classic RPGing at it's peak.
