I liked it, but I wouldn't call it my credo like other people have. It answers a lot of deeply complicated, political problems with simple terrorism where the innocent don't get hurt (movie magic) and the line between good and evil is drawn so solidly. It's just a movie, my friends, don't take it so seriously.

I thought it had a lot of great points, but there were times when it just felt like it dragged. Obviously it can't all be action, and that's not what I'm asking for. It's like no matter what V does he's a hero, be it torturing his own friend or putting together attacks on monuments.

I dunno. It's just sort of fishy that the man who wrote the original comic book pulled his name from this project.

It's not my favorite, but it's a good film to watch.

I'd have to agree with Rogue about it being slow at times. Especially when Portman was captured, with the outcome of that ... it seemed like it went on just a little too long.

I had no idea what to expect when I saw this movie, I was expecting a simpler more basic super hero movie with a bunch of action, and that's definitely not what I saw. But, I still liked it, and it was overall a great movie.

Not the best though. A friend of mine said he liked it more than King Kong and I was blown away, but that's me.

I was blown away when I saw it in theaters, but now looking back on it, I've liked other things a little bit better (Kill Bill... I dunno, that just comes to mind since its case is sitting right in front of me). Call me a meathead for liking things like that over V, but I DID appreciate the fact that it had some sort of message about it. Still, its by far one of my favorite movies I've seen in a while. I'd buy the DVD.

And apparently Guy Fawkes is a big thing in England. My stepmother lived there for a long time and when I told her the movies character was based on him, she almost went out right to the movies. The connections between the historical facts and the actual story, she said, was really well done.
