Note: This is just a small short about two of my characters. A summoner and her summon. I wanted to make a comic out of it because it was one of my favorite scenes. I know someone will probably wind up making it into a sprite comics. XD

Uh yeah Rika's a cheetah person with wings and Ryvern's a water dragon in human form... fantasy... woo..

Rika paced back and forth. Her hand was continually on her chin. She stopped for a moment and looked out the window. Her orange eyes just seemed to look out to the walls around the city. She was ontop of a mountain with Sorcha, Marin, Dragon, Kitsume, and her faithful summon Ryvern. Finally she gave up and began to take a step towards the door.

"You don't want to do that," came a voice. The voice was a bit plain, but it had a gentle feeling to it. It was a woman's and it was very familiar to Rika. After all this person was one of the people who had taken her from a failing world to Trallis. Marin. "I mean you out there defenseless? Come on..."

"But I want to go out..." Rika's voice faded. She had a timid accent to the language, but she was working well with the world's language. Her accent was only shy because she didn't want to say the wrong thing and be taken the wrong way.

Marin walked up to Rika and gave her a hug. The moss colored eyes that Rika had gain familiarity with just seemed like they stared off into the distance. "I know I know, but you gotta stay here. It's just not right if you leave to town on your own."

"Then I won't go out on my own," Rika gained more confidence. "I'll venture out with Dragon and Kitsume, or maybe even you and Ryvern." Rika smiled and looked at Marin straight in the eyes.

"Dragon's training, Kitsume is really tired so she's asleep, I'm supposed to be watching as look out for some damned reason, and Ryvern's doing nothing," Marin pointed out everyone's activities. "So I guess Ryvern's going to have to take you... alone..." Marin said with a serious look.

Rika blushed. "I-I don't know..." She said turning around. "I don't think it would be a good idea."

"Heh.." Marin smirked. "If you want to go out to the city of Crema, then go out with Ryvern... He's YOUR summon, meaning that he won't hurt YOU." While she talked with Rika she pointed her finger to Rika. "Besides it wouldn't hurt to see some color on those pale cheeks of your's."

Rika smiled and laughed. "Okay... I'll go get Ryvern and I'll go."

Marin's dull eyes began to warm. "Go get 'im," she said sticking her tongue out.

Rika began to walk to a door. The knob was bronze with a red jewel in it. She knocked on it. "Ryvern are you in there?"

She heard someone run up to the door and unlatch it. Finally the door opened with someone about two times taller than she was. Rika wasn't very tall to begin with, but he was about five feet eleven inches. Rika had to look up just to talk to him. The person who opened the door stood there with his trenchcoat in his arms. He had a solemn look on his face as he looked down at the girl. His blue hair sort of covered his forehead, but it was long enough to see his eyes. His hair was short and comed back. He continued to stare at Rika with the same serious face and then he finally smiled. "It's just you ma'am," he said.

Rika puffed out her left cheek. "It's not ma'am, it's Rika... call me Rika.."

He laughed. "Okay monkey..."

Rika growled. "I'm not a monkey... cheetah... CHEEEETAH!!"

Ryvern smiled and looked at Rika. "So what are we doing monkey..."

Rika sighed. "We are going into town.. Is that okay with you?"

Ryvern looked out the window. His deep blue eyes seemed to go off into the distance. "You know I haven't been outside of this place in days. Let's go."

Rika nodded and began to walk out of the home on the mountain. Ryvern followed behind and stayed about a couple of meters away looking to the side. Rika got to the front door and smiled opening it. She took her first step outside and breathed in the fresh air. She stretched her arms above her head and continued to listen to the many birds in the air. Rika smelled the crisp clean air and closed her eyes picturing the Trallian Delights, a flower with a beautifully sweet and rich smell along with a rich cream color for each petal, in her mind.

"Hey..." Ryvern said behind Rika. "Are you just going to stand there or actually get off the porch."

Rika looked at the dragon and smiled. Down the mountain they went. The side of the mountain was a hard climb because of the stairs. Rika had a hard time getting to the home because of the climb up, but down seemed more easy to her. She jumped down each step one by one. She hopped and smiled.

Ryvern sighed and continued looking to the side in a bored expression walking a couple of meters away. Everything around him he's seen atleast for eons and centuries with all of the summoners he's made contracts with. The sight was sort of and rather boring to him.

Rika shifted her weight and turned around to look at Ryvern she stopped on another step. "The sights around us are really nice, and the smells. They were a lot better than my last home."

Ryvern looked over at Rika and stuttered for a moment. "... What was you last home like?"

Rika's head dropped. She turned around and began to walk down the steps. "There was no scent of smell or touch at all... The only thing you could see was black and white... Infact the pillar there was just two dimensional in his world all the time. He couldn't think right and he only thought of himself." Rika continued to walk. "He insulted himself once, and then continued to take it personally. Not letting it go... then his world started to not be stable anymore..."

Ryvern sighed as they continued their stroll down the steps of the mountain. "Whatever happened to the kid...?"

Rika kept on looking down. "He left me to rot with his world... He left it and abandoned it for another world. One that he could actually function correctly in."

Ryvern blinked as he looked at Rika's footing. Something's off... He thought. His eyes widened as he ran forward.

Rika moved her foot and slipped off a step. "Ahh!!" She began to fall forward.

Ryvern grabbed her arm and caught her by the waste and regained his balance so the two wouldn't fall down the remaining steps. Ryvern blushed letting go of the cheetah girl with wings. He faced away from Rika and smiled. "Atleast you're okay."

Rika laughed. "You're very bendable...." She continued down. "Just like water itself. Catching everything with grace and smoothness."

Ryvern just shook his head and followed Rika. "You're clumsy that's all."

Rika smiled and looked back. "Well atleast I know who to count on to catch me when I fa--" She stopped in mid word as she looked infront of her.
