| Here are some small things I've learned in the past two years. (age 16-18 is very very revealing)..
1) It's better to be alone than with someone you're not meant to be with, It may hurt a bit to let go of something that gave you comfort. But it's just better. 2) Never assume anything, ever. Not even if someone tells you it's true. Just, no. Never. 3) Love doesn't mean the same to everyone, It isn't the same to everyone. 4) As lame as it sounds, Life -is- what you make of it. But sometimes you're in a position to where you just can't make it better. But never lose the faith, Everyone's day does come and just because it's not the way you hoped for it, doesn't mean you shouldn't take it. A crude way of saying it is, If you expect to get kicked in the balls and get punched in the gut. That my friends is a victory. Take this as you may, just a few things I've learned the hard way. And I feel I've grown as a person for these experiences. |

Yeah, those are never fun lessons to learn. Took me until last year for some of them to finally sink in for good, but once you learn them life is a lot happier in general. |

| You know what's funny? The people that need to learn these lessons over and over until it sinks in. I'm only 14. I learned my lessons good, only needed to hit them once.
Everyone should learn these, but depending on thier lifestyles, they might never get the chance. Pity, that's how we get tons of today's citizens. |

Like today was a lovely fiasco with him...and as pissed off as I am at him, I'm still going to hope that he's grown up somehow the next time I see him. In short, life is unfair, but everyone else have that too. So that make pretty much every advices you gave should go toward to the younger generation, where they are yet to learn the important stuff in the future.
Beside, having it the hard way is more easier to get the feeling instead of having the easy way. It teaches the hardship and knowledge, rather then having someone to disagree with you on that opinional matter (whether it is a fact or not). |
