| Well, I'm going to break the flow of the conversation and offer a secondary alternative to this idea.
We could do South Park-style characters. Now, don't get mad at me, this would really be nothing more than a joke, but yeah. | Well, we could have a group of XGF's funniest members each contribute into a story and then have the most talented artists/spriters do the...oh my merciful god.
We should have each character's appearance change depending on the forum they're in. Like, sprites for the Gaming/Programming/NewGame stuff, then drawn (Chibi-style) For the Crazy Nonsense/GeneralArt/Anime Lounge section, and dramatic drawings regardless of conversation in the RP/SimBattle/StoryRealm sections. Hmm? |

| I would say that this is a fun idea, and should happen.
I'm just wondering about the story/plot. if there is one. And personally I like the Southpark-esk characters. They are a funny, easy to identify, and easy to do. And Cairoi, can I get that one of me? I think it's cool, and want to show it to a friend. But, more seriously... If i can be of any help, I would love to have a hand in this. If not I look forward to reading whatever is cooked up. |

| Kind of ultra bumpage, but I FINALLY have an example of my art... not a comic... on my dads computer. There is a possibility of me getting this example of it in this thread sometime this week, and it will DEFINETLY be here by Friday night.
Now, it might be a bad representation, as it was for a school project and I put assloads of effort into it (about... 4 and a half hours, between drawing, inking, shading, traveling to my dads house which had the scanner, scanning it, and printing the actual project). I mean, when I make a comic (which I will now that I know how the whole thing works!) chances are it won't be remotely as good as this example, but it will be good. And thats a promise. |

Anyway, looks quite good Voltron. Can't wait to see how you draw the group of Xeogaming. Are you drawing/making them up from how their personality is, how they really look, or are you just making up some kind of thing for how they remind you of something? (Xeo being Strider Hiryuu, Sajin some Cat Guy, and Syntax Dr. Doom, for example) |
